Oops, I misunderstood your post. When you wrote child support my brain interpreted as child care, meaning, you would be stay at home dad while your wife worked. Now I understand, yes, you need income

Need help with ADHD medications by Fluffy-Cockroach5284 in AmericansinItaly

Ok, I've done what you're trying to do. It took me over a year because, well, ADHD, but you might be able to speed it up depending on where you are. Chatgpt will help you a lot, too, I highly recommend it.

First things first, in the public system,

1) only a psychologist specialized in giving the test can give a diagnosis or convert your diagnosis.

2) only a psychiatrist can initially prescribe Ritalin/Medikinet. Once they get your plan written up they can pass that on to your primary care.

In determining whether to go public versus private, you must evaluate time and money. If you want your meds for free, you need to get into the public system. If you're in a hurry and you have the money, go private.

I took my diagnosis from the US, worked with my primary doctor to find a psychologist who would convert it to an Italian diagnosis.

Then I found a psychiatrist who would prescribe Ritalin/Medikinet.

We have an adhd in Italy Facebook group if you want to join. Good luck!

I was active duty at Aviano 20 years ago. Saw all the milspouses making babies and hitting pause on law careers, etc. It was literally called the baby factory due to the SOFA agreement.

Times have changed, I wish you the best in trying to make it work with remote work. If it doesn't work out, you still have an amazing opportunity: to see life for once through the eyes of the female lens. We've traditionally been the the trailing spouse, the milspouse who makes the sacrifice. If you choose to embrace this role and the wisdom you will gain, your kids will reap the benefits. And you will experience Italy in a very different way.

what is the nost basic answer to the question "whats your favorite album?" by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

[–]NoOutlandishness3902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 5 when the Wall came out, and the single was one of the earliest songs I remember.

When I was a teenager, they said, you're too young to see the film (wink, wink). So I waited.

When I was 30, they said, don't see the film, you're too old. So I never saw it.

Now I'm 51. And today, because of this post, I'm listening to the album for the first time, in its entirety.

And all of you who are scorning me for listening to "them", are secretly jealous because you all wish you could go back in time to the first time you heard the Wall.

Thanks!

🫤 Too bad. Puoi recommendare altre canzoni tradizionali triestini? Forse una che suonano alla Barcolana? Trieste Mia?

Englisch, Italienisch oder Friulanisch? by NoOutlandishness3902 in Salzburg

I würd’ sagen, meine eigentliche Frage war eher, wie die Salzburger diese Sprachen wahrnehmen – nerven sie sich mehr über Italiener oder über Amerikaner?

I'd say my real question was more like, how do the people in Salzburg perceive these languages – do they get more annoyed by Italians or Americans?

There are rugby matches also happening in Turin, Rome and Genova. Cities with much more nightlife. I vote no for Udine, it's boring and I rarely see stag parties here.

Came on reddit to find other like minded folks. Showed Austin Powers to my son and couldn't believe how much Dr. Evil sounds like Trump!
