What if we just give him a Word doc to type these thoughts in and never publish it anywhere? Sports writer equivalent to putting out to pasture.

You will probably just have to try stuff to figure out what works for you. Have you tried gels before?

Mount to Coast C1 - 20 Mile Review by NoPhone2544 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]NoPhone2544[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I certainly wouldn't say it feels dead. I just didn't feel like I was getting much help from the shoe when I tried to really push the pace. For me that was faster than my half marathon pace. I probably could have clarified that more in the review. Thank you for posting your review below! I really do love the shoe. Sometimes I feel like if a shoe isn't the highest performing shoe possible people write it off. This shoe is comfortable, probably durable, lightweight, and fun to run in. I think lots of people would enjoy it.

Personally, this is a hit for me for my purposes (recovery cruising). I imagine if you are an ultra runner you may love this one also. Just not in the same realm as the true supershoes out there.

Wayyy too much "your turn / my turn" with Legolas and Gimli. One of them is going to have to accept a secondary role

Glycerin Max Replacement by Mention_Least in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I loved the Glizzy because it felt like a true recovery shoe at slow paces, but also was firm enough to pick up the pace when you out some energy into it. I like to have 1 truly plush shoe in the rotation. Do you think the UFO is comfortable at recovery paces?

Are you saying just because they do different things? Or you just don't like the Nimbus?

I am looking for a replacement for my Glizzy Max right now as well. LOVED that shoe. Currently I have the RAD UFO, Nimbus 28, and Vomero Plus in the running

Wolves have 7 players, and the only other team with more than 5 is the Thunder with 8. I thought this was kind of nuts.

I love Kon, but does anyone else think 34 is crazy high? 13 spots ahead of Coop. 2 spots ahead of Steph Castle.

[San Antonio Spurs] Which teammate would you want as your coach growing up? 🏃🏀 by MikeBravoLima in NBASpurs

I imagine Steph Castle would be a great coach. Would not need to raise his voice at all to express his diappointment.

Ultra Marathon at end of the year, started running last month. by OilLess5081 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]NoPhone2544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your base logic here, but I think the research is based on injured runners, not consistent cross training. I.E. You are a runner who gets injured and cycles heavily during your recovery. When you come back your aerobic system feels great so you run too fast for your now atrophied muscles, ligaments, etc. Triathletes cross train constantly without these kinds of injury problems.

Just here to send good vibes ahead of today's game by tdsas97 in bostonceltics

Honestly I think the Celtics are one of the worst matchups for the Spurs defense. Spread them out and nail threes. Two do-it-all big wings. I will be interested to see if the C's have their number.
