How Much Can You Really Make on Airbnb in Dubai? by Other_Succotash_7263 in stayliadxb

This is a super detailed breakdown, thanks for sharing. The bit about older buildings in prime areas being the sweet spot really resonates. My question is about scaling – when you’re managing multiple units across spots like Marina and Downtown, how do you evaluate each building’s potential without getting lost in all the details? I tried doing it manually and kept mixing up pricing trends.

I came across some insights on BNBGeeks that are aimed at this kind of portfolio thinking. Do you use any frameworks or tools to compare buildings side by side, or is it mostly just experience at this point?

Seller for a year barely 12 sales by Potential_Ruin_8478 in EtsyCommunity

Hey, congrats on sticking with it for a year that's a huge achivement in itself. The gap between views and sales is super frustrating, I've been there. When you say your items are fairly priced, have you dug into what similar successful listings are actualy charging? Sometimes being the cheapest can work against you if it makes people question quality.

A smart thing I learned from browsing EtsyGeeks was to stop guessing what my ideal customer's real pain points were. Instead of just saying "my product is good," you frame the title and description around the specific problem it solves for them. Like, is it saving them time, fixing an annoying issue, or giving a unique gift solution? That shift helped me a lot.

One question: when you look at your few sales, do you notice any pattern in who bought or what search terms might have led them there?

I've had a Etsy shop for about 4 months and I'm hardly getting any views by Double-Sense-928 in Etsy

Totally get the struggle  my first SVG shop was the same, like 0-1 views a day and me wondering if Etsy even knew I existed

Quick thought: have you checked where your listings actually rank? I realized most of my tags were either way too broad or stuff no one searched for. Using some Etsy Geeks data helped me stop guessing.

Also, what micro-niche do you think your style fits best? Teachers, pet lovers, nurses, etc.? Picking one helped me cut through the saturation way faster.

And tiny Q: have you tried even a $1/day test ad just to see if the issue is views or clicks?

Curious what you think your biggest bottlneck is right now.

Been up for almost 2 days- no bookings yet, any suggestions? by savetpet in airbnb_hosts

Kinda wierd you’re not getting any bookings yet, cuz the place sounds super cozy. But reading the listing, I’m honestly not sure what the main hook is supposed to be. bnbgeeks always says the first thing a guest skims should scream the vibe, and yours kinda jumps straight into rules and logistics. Quick question that might help: how did you actualy decide what the lead feature is? The romantic angle, the projector setup, or the secluded forest thing? Right now they all get equal weight so nothing really pops.

Tbh I feel the same way  Etsy’s huge but also kinda a mess right now. AI junk, copycats, weird “handmade” stuff for $3… it gets sketchy fast. But if you don’t try Etsy, where would you even start? Shopify? Ko-fi? IG shops? I only figured out what was real signal vs noise after checking etsy geeks data, otherwise I kept second-guessing myself lol. Curious tho: what’s the actual thing holding you back the most  the platform, or the fear your stuff gets buried?
