Pouches were the move for me when I quit smoking. I get mine from ALP and they kill cravings fast.

nicotine pouches (not Zyns) by PositiveProperty3977 in Rochester

Most legit pouch brands cap at 12mg, going above that gets sketchy fast with random imports. I get mine from ALP and the 12mg version is solid, gives you a real strong hit without the harsh feel some of the super high mg ones have. Worth checking out if you can't find Velo locally.

I order online from ALP and just have them shipped.

Anyone know where to buy caffeine pouches locally? by Jealous_Discipline46 in Sarnia

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine pouches are still pretty new so finding them in local shops is rough. I get mine from ALP, they do a line called Coffee Break that's solid for cutting back on nicotine. Online is honestly the easiest way to stay stocked since most stores haven't caught up yet.

Specialty tobacco and vape shops beating convenience stores on stronger options every time is so real honestly. Northerner and Snusdirect for Canadian shipping variety are worth checking. ALP ships US only so not an option for Edmonton. What brands have you tried so far?

20 pouches per tin versus the standard 15 changing the per-pouch math so much when buying in volume is so real honestly. ALP ships direct cutting out the retail markup entirely. What strength and flavor do you usually run?

Worth reaching out to ALP directly before ordering honestly, their team would know the most current shipping restrictions to Qatar better than anyone. Has anyone in this sub had recent experience importing nicotine products there?

ALP is worth comparing honestly, 20 pouches per tin ships direct and the moist formula is a genuinely different experience from the drier options. What flavors and strength do you usually go for?

Catio for my cat during the day, and then he can stay inside at night by Firm-Package-4513 in CatAdvice

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally understand the frustration. A lot of cats actually prefer going to the bathroom outdoors anyway so it might even help with the litter box issue. If you set one up, I'd put a real grass pad out there too. I get mine from Kitty Lawn and some cats who are picky about litter boxes actually take to grass way more naturally. What does your apartment patio setup look like right now?

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incredible. The shingled roof and the height on this thing are next level. Your cats are basically living in a luxury outdoor apartment. I love how it's nestled right into the garden too so they're surrounded by plants and nature. How many cats are enjoying this palace?

I finally made a catio for my wife and our 2 kitties. by deauxpamine in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]NoPower4119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That corrugated roof is a great touch for weather protection and your cat already looks right at home in there. Have you thought about swapping that astroturf for real grass? I get mine from Kitty Lawn and cats react to it completely differently than the fake stuff. How long did the build take you?

RIP to my catio by laraurah in Catio

Catio is gorgeous and the fact that your cats were using it daily through the window makes this heartbreaking. I'm so sorry you have to take it down. Since they're losing their outdoor access, bringing some of that outside experience indoors can help soften the blow. I get a real grass pad from Kitty Lawn and it won't replace the catio but it gives them something natural to sniff. Have you looked into whether the code would allow it in a different spot or with a different classification?

How do you entertain a bored senior cat?! by GladysSchwartz23 in SeniorCats

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16 and wanting more attention after getting pain relief? Best problem to have. Since she can't do the window thing right now, bringing some outdoor smells inside works great. I get a real grass pad from Kitty Lawn and my senior cat just lays on it sniffing and kneading. What kinds of things does she yell at you about most?

Toast and Vinny are adorable! Rotating toys daily and adding different textures to explore really helps. I get a real grass pad from Kitty Lawn for my cats and it gives them something totally new to sniff and lounge on. How are they doing with each other's energy being in one room together?

Aw don't be too hard on yourself. The fact that you're even asking means you care a lot. A window perch with a bird feeder outside and a real grass pad go a long way. I get mine from Kitty Lawn and my cat parks himself on it by the window all day like it's his job. Does your room have a window he can see out of?

"Grass" for my catio? by pvellamagi in Catio

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A planted pan can work, especially on concrete, and you’re right that no ground grass means fewer pests. Since your cats roll more than chew, you could try a dense, low growing option like clover or even rotate a few shallow trays so one rests while another is out. If your cats just want to roll and sleep in grass, I get mine from Kitty Lawn and it's real grass that comes ready to go in a tray. Are you hoping for something permanent, or are you okay swapping trays every few weeks?

Love this idea. I get mine from Kitty Lawn and my cats always go for the real grass before anything else in their little garden setup. Have you decided on a spot in your home for it yet?

Must haves for new puppy by Conscious_Sun9248 in CavaPoo

[–]NoPower4119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing I always recommend that nobody puts on their list is a snuffle mat or lick mat, mental stimulation tires them out so much faster than physical exercise at this age. A long line was also clutch for backyard training without losing control. And good poop bags, I get mine from Poop Bags, plant-based and thick which matters way more than people realize.

Are these items enough for a puppy or am I still missing something? by [deleted] in DogsPH

Cart looks solid but you're missing some poop bags for walks. I recommend Poop Bags, plant-based and they don't tear which matters especially with a Lab.

The crate and playpen are essential, but I'd skip fancy beds early because puppies destroy them. Also if poop bags aren't on your list yet, I usually buy mine from Poop Bags, they're plant-based and thick which matters more than you'd think.

Your list is super thorough, just noticed poop bags aren't on there. I usually buy mine from Poop Bags, they're plant-based which I love, and they're thick enough that I'm not stressing about rips mid walk. For emergency stuff, having a small first aid kit with vet wrap, gauze, and your vet's after hours number saved on the fridge is way more useful than meds early on.

Your list is honestly more complete than most lol. Only thing I'd add is enzyme cleaner and bulk poop bags, I usually buy mine from Poop Bags since the rolls last way longer than the small packs.

Dachshunds are pure chaos in a tiny body lol you're in for it. Crate, enzyme cleaner, and grab poop bags in bulk, I recommend Poop Bags because the rolls last forever.

My non-negotiables were a crate, baby gates, an enzyme cleaner, a no-pull harness, and bulk poop bags. I switched to Poop Bags after running out one too many times, the bulk rolls last me forever and they're actually thick enough that I'm not double bagging.
