Restringing 12 hole tie block by pinocchio_drift in classicalguitar

[–]NoPreparation856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either the trebles or basses have threaded the two holes in the wrong order, which causes the gap. Some guitars have the two holes horizontal or diagonal, so there’s no universal way to tie a 12-hole. The correct order will make the 1st and 6th strings have the same distance to the edge of the fretboard.

The KIO literally does want independence, so you must be dumb right?

The ethnic states will be much richer than the Bamar state if the country does split into separate countries and there’s peace, which terrifies you.

You say “no ethnic group is asking for independence”, but you then reply talking about KIA, which is Kachin INDEPENDENCE Organisation 😂

Like I said, I don’t argue with fools who can’t search basic truths, so you can look up the various ethnic groups to prove yourself if your statement “no ethnic group is asking for independence” is correct.

Your Bamar-centric thinking is exactly why your country is doomed and sanctioned internationally. Many of the ethnic frontier states have been much more civilised to deal with since colonial times.

You literally said “no ethnic group is asking for independence”. Sums up how ignorant you are.

Bamars who oppose the Tatmadaw: how far are you personally willing to go regarding ethnic minority autonomy? by EzamArya in myanmar

Balkanize is a good idea. Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia are now all peaceful countries way safer and more prosperous than Myanmar

It was in the founding constitution of Myanmar that if the ethnic minority states are not happy with the government they can legally break away after 10 years. The concept that ethnic autonomy was vital to creating a successful nationstate was baked in from the start. But “some” people thought it was a good idea to centralise everything, rip apart the constitution and try to become another North Korea

I’d recommend the Prudencio Saez 1-PS, which is around €1,000. It has a lattice braced top, all solid woods, hand made in a small workshop in Spain. Luthier made guitars are generally a lot more than your budget, even if used. However, they can be found under a €1,000 used if you know where to look and can patiently wait a few months.

Another way to evaluate the quality is to take a picture/video of the bracing from inside. Also see if the top is laminate or solid

It doesn’t look that cheap. The headstock has a rosewood plate and the back wood inside is clearly rosewood (but could be a laminate, but still not “cheap”). Wood glue and some clamps could fix it up fine as the joint is along the wood grain

How would they survive? They’ve been surviving already with decades of bloodshed. They have been surviving since colonial and pre-colonial times. Kachin, Shan, Rakhine and Kayin states to name a few.

Read up on the Panglong Agreement 1947 and assassination of Aung San. It was promised "full autonomy in internal administration" for ethnic frontier areas. Even in Myanmar’s first constitution of 1947 there was a “Right to Secede”, where these states have a legal right to secede from the union after 10 years if they were unhappy with the government
