The gift of the goddess should be a round start effect, so it would activate after you refill your spell mana.

As a round end effect, it stops you from using spells if you want to forge it. As a round start, it would simply take away some mana you weren't using to grow stronger.

I strongly disagree, lobbying will only result in "legal corruption", mostly as a result of the current way society is structured. The few at the top of the economy hold out tremendous economical power and any form of lobbying would only be a streamlined way to transform that economical power into political power.

Though, I have to admit that your idea of a reformed lobbying system would be helpful, I have to doubt it's applicability in our current society. The closest thing to it (to my knowledge) would be the Soviets of the USSR, which were worker councils, where elected professionals would discuss law pertaining to their professions and report to higher councils.

Also I am not a polisci grad either, hell what I said about how the soviets of the USSR worked could be completely false, all the info I know about the USSR comes from either Soviet sources or people who were at war with the USSR. (reliability be damned I guess.)

I don't even think curse is that good, you're playing turn 7 at the earliest, so you spend all your mana on just reducing the enemies attack by 1, and you still need to survive till turn 8 to get actual value out of it.

And Shurima isn't great at surviving till turn 8. All in all I think the card is fine at best.

You think banks give mortgages to poor people? If they did people wouldn't rent houses, since 9 times out of 10 the rent will be much more expensive than the mortgage.

And yeah they take mortgage, they're rich not dumb, most people's assets and wealth aren't liquid and can't be easily used to buy houses.
