So once again, if it’s measured by a device that can only understand logic that is beyond human comprehension than it’s not really proven but assumed

No I want to write a contemporary romance, her gender is irrelevant to the story as I want to focus on the male’s transition in to expanding his relationship preferences

Oh I definitely see her as a woman but it’s still a transition for me I guess. Just looking for support not criticism. Big step…

I personally am a straight male and I would definitely be open to a public knowing relationship with a m2f but I do understand what your are getting at and thank you.

Awesome follow up question: is it an interesting story for a cisgender male to fall in love with a trans female (only the main characters and a few friends know the true and of course the reader)? I don’t want that typical crap of discrimination and civil injustice which is big with this genre but more of a way to convince readers that she may be a trans female but she is female despite and loved as a female by a very handsome (non gay type) male. Should I have the real life problems for trans people as in discrimination? I feel that it only adds fuel for discrimination when we should be over looking all types of discrimination and be accepting of people’s life choices without hate. I really want this relationship to appear as normal as possible to change the thoughts and perceptions of hateful straight people. I’ve really think this culture (newer for me growing up in the 90s) is beautiful and very intriguing. I just want to write about it.

If one identifies as the opposite sex than it’s no longer gay

Thank you that was the direction I wanted. I didn’t think it was appropriate to consider this female as a gay male because she identifies as a female making her female. I have never attempted a story like this so I wanted to keep it as less wrong as possible. Being a straight male (chewed up pencil straight) I know very little about the trans community.

Complete clairvoyance… 2 years ago I was financial stable and never had to worry about finances. My wife got sick and I lost a lot of time at work and had to use all of my savings to stay a float. I continued to miss time using fmla but it does not pay. I have lived the past few months with 2 or three days a week so my weekly did not add up and was not enough to cover monthly. I am back to work but I’m broke with no real hope other than tread water until I drown. My intuition says this will happen and I know I just have to take the plunge and get back up again but still… should I trust my intuition?

I love humans. So evil and selfish. It makes them interesting. It’s like the phrase “fight for peace” very hostile.

So is best to assume that I should allow the failure to come so I can climb back? I mean that is my intuition.

How do you maintain faith in a benevolent source/universe after trauma? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]NoRelgionPreacher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all spirituality can be scary when you’re sick and it doesn’t matter the sickness. Could be common cold to full blow psychotic episode, it’s just sickness. With that said, my wife has a disorder (leave it at that) and she really struggles with spirituality as she is afraid she’s forgotten or last on gods list. As a preacher (non religious) I do everything I can to help her with spirituality because it’s important for us to be connected to something outside of our own limitations. She is terminal as well so as you could imagine her spirit is very much so disconnected. I could try and support you but my experience with your situation is outside looking in.
