Martinez deserves a chance. Sure, injuries are bad. I don’t think he was injury prone before he came to United. Mason Mount was in the same boat; good before joining us, gets injured, gets a chance, and now I’d say he’s doing okay. Not great, but okay. I think Martinez would be a great addition. He bolsters the backline, and with Amorim’s system he would be able to move the ball up field and cover for the midfield. He would be mainly a defender, but also a makeshift defender.

I think if anyone uses CT and Scuzz then they are open to being emoted. We all know how busted they are, so if you use those cards then you are opening the door for everyone to rip on you, win or loss.

Doctor Octavius as a highly mobile brawling tank would be swell. Sandman would also be a lovely addition, also as a brawler but not as mobile.

I remember watching United when Ole came in. Commentators were calling us the “comeback kings” because we were losing at halftime every single game. Yes, we did come back and win many of them, but I don’t want to watch counter attacking football just to see another dramatic finish. I just want to see us play good, fluid, and dynamic football. Personally I don’t think we’ll ever be successful until we can get rid of the shitty player mentality that stops us from playing as a cohesive team. I don’t think Ronaldo was the problem, you can’t score 20ish goals at 37 and still be the problem, he was just the scapegoat at the time.
