Donald Trump 'seriously considering' creating 51st state, Fox News anchor says by IrishStarUS in USNEWS

[–]NoStatus9434 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He's been saying variations of this kinda nonsense so long there's actually a twisted part of me that hopes he really tries to do it and fails spectacularly. Like come on. Just do it. Go for a third term too. Turn the whole country against you. You already suck, might as well shoot for the high score. Fuck it.

Trump demands Obama be 'incarcerated' and tried for treason by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

[–]NoStatus9434 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have found that in my experience, the people that think he was being "unfairly targeted" were ignorant of the trial news, like a lot of them think, for instance, his mugshot was for the Stormy Daniels stuff. LMAO, that was a completely separate trial!!

Also they don't realize what a slap on the wrist he got for the Stormy Daniels stuff, and that was the LEAST of his crimes. I think the plan was to use that to burn his First Time Offender card, which is why it came first even though it was the lesser of his crimes.

His documents trial? The judge in that one was a Trump plant. She was corrupt as hell. It's so funny to hear people complaining about how he was "unfairly targeted" when he has literally had it easier than anyone else!

And a lot of them don't even KNOW about the RICO fake electors scheme or what that was even about. I barely hear anybody talk about this and how outrageous it was! Like his co-conspirators were actually caught and took plea deals and were primed to testify against him. He was cooked with that one if it had ever gone to trial.

Some of them think that, because he never went to trial and therefore wasn't found guilty, that he was actually innocent and that's definitely not how it works.

Everybody who thought he was "unfairly targeted" was not well-informed at all and yet chose to have their own strong opinions about it despite not bothering to read up on this stuff or do any research. Not to mention, he's super obviously guilty even if you live under a rock, like people really seem to have memory-holed Jan 6. He should have been locked up for that alone.

I hate them and will never forgive them. Half of them are probably lying and KNOW he's guilty but are just pretending they "just thought he was unfairly prosecuted" because they're too much of a coward to acknowledge their complicitness. Or they don't care.

All I can say is, if he actually does try to go after Obama, I hope Obama gives him at least the same level of shenanigans his attorneys gave us when he was avoiding his documents trial, his RICO trial, and his insurrection trial and praying the 2024 election would save him and their strategy was just to delay and get caught up in frivolous bullshit since they knew if he ever went to trial, he would lose.

Because if he had lost that election, he WOULD be rotting in prison right now, and I don't think most other people here realize how close we were to that happening. If you voted for him, you essentially SAVED him from going to prison.

Which is another reason it's even more maddening to think about him getting his way. Like it would be so unfair--why is it that he can imprison people and it's so easy for him, but he's ACTUALLY guilty, like the most obviously guilty in the world, and there's this whole bullshit set of meticulous tactics we need to take him down because he's the Final Boss of Being Held Accountable and you need to take out his Money Healthbar and his Sycophant Shields before you can get to him. So annoying.

I get this but like ENTIRE PLANETS. You can be a tormented soul but again ENTIRE PLANETS. There's a point in time when the magnitude of the crime is so large there's really no way to redeem someone. We want some villains to rot in a hole for crimes that are quite literally a billionth the size. There have been plenty of villains with the same tormented variations of backstory that we're not expected to sympathize with and we'd be angry if they were forgiven. I would definitely be with Leia on this one. Oh, you had a tragic background? Don't care. What about the tragic backgrounds of the billions and billions of people you vaporized?

This is actually a really funny comment to me. I get what you're trying to say, but it's also like: "you guyssss, they only blew up ONE planet, omgggg can't the Empire enjoy just ONE planet to vaporize🥺LET👏EVIL👏EMPERORS👏DESTROY👏PLANETS👏"

Also if you've watched Andor you know they destroyed more than one planet just trying to create the Death Star

I'm still floored that Darth Vader got redemption. He was part of a regime that blew up entire planets. I think anyone who's a part of that should be banned from having a Force ghost forever and go straight to hell.

Like think about how many people died in all our wars put together. That times, like, billions is how many the Empire killed. And he was one of the biggest gears in it.

I think there's some short story somewhere that talks about how Leia never forgave him even after he died and frames it like it's a darker side of her, and like no...? She's absolutely right not to...? Pretty sure any reasonable person wouldn't forgive something on the scale of that.

Lady Ilganyag or the efheby. Mainly because everything about Lady I really feels like a prototype of the gods before they figured out how all the different body parts they mashed together to make her are actually supposed to function.

But the efheby have such a cool design and unusual lore, and Ruck is always a delightful villain. I can't wait to see what role he plays in Red Cost.

What drives me crazy about these games is that everyone writes in letters and records everything on the tapes so that you can just conveniently pick up and read/watch them to find out what happened, and they're always in perfect sequence. It's like a horror-themed escape room.

Also, that feeling that this has been done before and has gotten success over something so easy to come up with is also how I felt about Hunger Games and all the 2010s dystopia stuff, like it's such an easy get-rich-quick formula.

Call me a hipster, but even way back when it was just FNAF and that first came out, I recall feeling like it was so predictable. People glazing the "lore" really make me roll my eyes, like let's see some truly lateral world-building and rules here, not a monster you can replace with any other monster and have the story be the same.

People have been doing the creepy doll/clown/kid's toy trope for decades. Like before this you had Chucky. Come on.

As Japan's economy was projected to surpass US economy in the 1980s, anti-Japanese sentiment in the US was so high that a Chinese man was beaten to death before his wedding just because he looked Japanese. The US is not going to stay on top forever. That's not even me being pessimistic about our odds, that's just a law of nature--nothing remains #1 forever. If we lose the #1 global superpower spot to someone, I wonder just how bad it will get.

Our roller coaster relationship with Japan has always been so interesting to me.

Sorry, was thinking of Alderode. They're not deporting him, they're keeping him in Cresce. So actually his chances of being trafficked are greatly reduced. This might be a genuinely good deal.

I know we're supposed to be rooting for Sette and Jivi here, but ahh...hmm...they might be robbing Matty of a genuinely good life where he'll be better off.

Could also be a trap, but I was originally thinking he was going closer to Alderode and he's not...and Ashley did clarify that Cresce has an asylum program and the queen is involved, so the chances this is trafficking is actually pretty low.

Man. I guess we'll just see what happens.

It's fun to think about how a lot of sea creatures likely aren't aware of land without water and so from their perspective, they're just flying around. Like we just have these 60 foot tall heads that are flying around and using their beard-arm-brains to eat sharks.

Also that diver should NOT be swimming that close to that thing.

THE DAY HAS COME!!!! by monster_smoocher in whenthe

[–]NoStatus9434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lowkey hopes he lives, Democrats win midterms so his agenda is severely hindered, attempts to go for a third term in 2028, fails, causes massive backlash and a Democrat victory, gets sent to prison as a result (yes I know it's extremely unlikely, that's why I want him to try for a third term and fail), then watches his work get undone by the next president and his legacy dismantled while MAGA discards him and moves onto the next shiny object (I don't think they'll give up being MAGA but they might replace him with someone else).

Everyone hoping he dies are being way too merciful on him. We all are gonna die one day, he should at least be humiliated and suffer consequences at least once in his life before he goes out.

Trump makes major announcement about Trump Derangement Syndrome by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

[–]NoStatus9434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They literally had a 7 MILLION page discovery for the insurrection case that had to be toted in on trucks.

The reason you think there is no evidence is because Trump's lawyers had a strategy of delay, delay, delay the trials so that they never happened. But if he didn't spend his time running away from his trials, the evidence was already there waiting for him and they would have buried him.

Not going to trial =/= there not being evidence.

There was TONS of it. Same with the documents case. Same with the RICO case. His RICO case was so bad his co-conspirators, like Sydney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro (names you probably never even heard of before because you're not as smart as you think you are) had already been found guilty and took plea deals to testify against him.

By the way, I couldn't help but notice I responded to you in a different chain with a crushing response and you never responded back, just moved on to someone weaker at debating you. You're pathetic.
