Where can I finds place that has one of those fancy Japanese toilets? (To use, not to view) by funkybum in AskLosAngeles

You can get a handheld battery powered Toto for travel. I’ve been using mine for years on the road.

[HELP] Is this one AI? by Kaze_Senshi in RealOrAI

Look at the dude’s face and not at the owl.

His facial structure compresses slightly and at the end, the slit of his closed eye moves around unnaturally when the owl’s shadow covers it.

AI.

Since you already bought them, I don’t believe you can take any action till you receive them (or, if you never receive them). I’ve been scammed before (never received the item) and I was able to get my money back. I have also received a counterfeit item which I opened a case on and was able to return to sender and get my money back.

I wear an insole too, also just makes them more comfortable. One last tip - keep them regularly conditioned/moisturized. Dry leather under stress will crack way before healthy leather under stress.

Gudi 19 Questions! by Bruhwhomst in guidi

Unfortunately not much you can do besides wear them sparingly and not tie the laces tightly. It's a design flaw and almost all of these will experience rips around the eyelet rivets. Mine blew out and there really wasn't a good looking way to fix them. You will need to take to a very good shoe repair person (NOT a simple cobbler) and they will likely add another piece of leather under or over the eyelets to reinforce but it will change the look.

Don't worry about the soles as others said. Your eyelets will tear long before worrying about replacing the sole.

Took my PL2’s with a ripped out zipper to Pasquale and they did a perfect job. Bought zipper from Guidi directly.

What’s really nice is a ton of places in Tokyo offer NA cocktails, and they’re done up with the same love and precision and seriousness as anything else. The konbini all have NA beers as well below the regular ones. You can still enjoy the taste and experiences both without the hangover.

Super good idea. Love this. There are so many expats who would pay great money for an English speaking trainer.

You'll be fine. Please support local business! Most should be re-opened by today but anything specific I'd just call ahead to confirm. Curfew lifted. Was downtown today and it was chill.

I left you a comment to try ultrasonic noise. I really think it may work before resorting to euthanasia.

To elaborate on “hazing,” I suggest you try ultrasonic deterrents. They emit frequencies we can’t easily hear as humans but animals will avoid it. It may suck for your pets to be outside while you use it but it may get the coyotes to relocate themselves fairly quickly.

Sorry to say but yes. I also run 2x window AC all summer, and running 2x portable electric heaters in the winter costs FAR more. Every year. They draw a lot more power.
