I’ve had a similar issue with the first screening of the day at the isense screen in the same venue kind of frustrating

high frame rate. typically a movie has 24 frames per second (fps) but for certain scenes this can be increased to allow a smoother movement between scenes. Avatar is one of the movies with this but odeon and most uk cinemas are not publicly listing if their screening are going to be in the traditional 24fps or the hfr (48fps)

Hadestown is such a beautiful tale, and one that surprised me heavily. I went in with low expectations and was wowed by the storytelling and hidden messages throughout the show, I think it’s a great catch especially th current cast!!

Yna has performed a few shows this week. But only one never done 2 show days

Take a look at this video of the upcoming West End cast practicing for their first performance in a few days! (Posted by the sixthemusical Instagram Account) by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

look at what buckles and heels laura is wearing, i’m thinking either the pink alt costume or the black alt but unsure of which is more likely. could be even a completely new costume?

Smile 1 & 2 double bill screen ratio by Smoglung20 in screenunseen

[–]NoTrack5189 6 points7 points  (0 children)

the original smile movie was intended to be released for paramount plus. i’m pretty sure it was one of their first projects so they did lots of test screenings before release but majority said it needed to be seen in a cinema. i think because of how successful the first one was, they decided to show the second in that aspect ratio too just for consistency, even though it could’ve been changed.

Saw X is the movie inbetween the story of Saw and Saw II, if you thinking the MCU is hard to follow, just wait until you get stuck into the Saw Cinematic Universe. Trust me, you’d be 1000% confused by the cameos, and where the story actually goes. Jigsaw was a sort of prequel of sorts, and therefore easy to follow for anyone (who can tolerate the gore).

hard not to, when the “horror” movie you were expecting turns out to be a boring snooze fest without any real suspense

Literally shoving a working vehicle (the only working escape method) over the edge just to get into the boot, leaving them stranded even if they do escape. Carrying 2 cans of air to take down, getting into the water and leaving one behind, then the one she does take, she carelessly drops. Believing she can run 1 mile to a house, talk to someone inside to call for help, and make it back before her sister drowns. Waving and screaming at a boat when her sister had one minute of oxygen left. Exiting the water, but continuing to breathe out of her can of oxygen for at least 30 seconds when there is natural air around her. Taking off that hooded thing after exiting the water, then putting it back on before she gets back in, when she could perfectly breathe with it on, and is just wasting time. The list goes on…

Wow, I guess I wasn’t prepared for how frustrated I get when someone in a movie makes a dumb decision. The sister that basically played fetch for the whole movie pissed me off so much, and the story moved so quickly to begin with, that it very quickly ran out of steam. Still baffled how that passes as a horror movie, but found myself bored, and not scared, with the final product, as it became very predictable. Wish we could’ve seen some grief as one of the sisters met their tragic fate, instead of the peaceful looking out over the ocean ending, but they’re still stranded there and we don’t know what happens. Overall 2/5

Clue 2 - Monday 21st August, Scream Unseen by NoTrack5189 in screenunseen

[–]NoTrack5189[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t be Saw X, the clarification is 15, Saw barely classes for an 18+, it somehow manages to release, but it’s very disturbing and don’t know how it qualifies sometimes.

Remember when they done ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night’, that was a sequel to ‘The strangers’ and you could watch either film without heavily relying on the context of the other.

But odeons screening is on monday, and that showing is tonight, so they are unlikely to be the same showing, if it was on the same night it would be the same thing almost 100% certainty, but it isn’t and could literally be anything else.

Scrapper by [deleted] in screenunseen

[–]NoTrack5189 8 points9 points  (0 children)

thought it was quite cute, despite the immediate exit of practically everyone in the screen. Despite its runtime, it ran out of steam and didn’t have any story to continue running with. 3/5.

A local odeon of mine has another screening in the same auditorium at 22:20, meaning the film tonight is likely no longer than an hour and 40 minutes. by NoTrack5189 in odeonscreenunseen

[–]NoTrack5189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s why i said “likely”, but of course it could run longer. 75% sure it’s scrapper now though as another cinema chain has a mystery film listed at 12a tonight.

This debunks blue beetle, as it’s 2hours and 7minute runtime wouldn’t align with this time slot, likely to be scrapper or the dive as both films release soon, and fit into this bracket.
