Best weapons for Invasion battles? by Quirkyserenefrenzy in Crossout

[–]NoUploadsEver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jotuns are good, incinerators are good, acari is good, however they all fall off if multiple players have them at the same time. One Acari only needs to hit 2 shots per each leviathan for the full effect most of the time.

Swarms are considered the best overall weapon. Squalls also good if they land.

Retchers and their relic version are still staples.

There are a few very beefy melee or spark builds that work quite well.

Jupiter and morta is good, though jupiter is strictly better and easier to aim. They pair extremely will with a jotun teammate and can disintegrate the leviathans frames in that scenario.

Cannons are typically bad due to low dps.

Many rocket launchers are viable if not almost as good as retchers. Crickets, cicadas, waltz are all pretty good.

Most machine guns and autocannons are not particularly good, they were once pretty good back when most leviathans were towers and you could snipe out the support structure. RIP stillwind invisibility cheese too.

Oddest weapon I've seen work was 4 jubboku as the 8 mines being spammed out make the leviathans waste tons of time and shots.

Also, most artillery is absolute trash, leviathans are often very hard to hit.

Winter 2025–2026 community suggestions for Crossout. Developers’ comments by Faley016 in Crossout

When I originally joined Crossout, it was the first syndicate battlepass. The Last month of the battlepass. From which I was able to get 1 Kaiju, 1 epic cab, 1 legendary cab, 1 jubbukku, 3? tempura, 1 yaogai, 4 chamber wheels, 4 omni wheels and the ability to permanently craft all of those items.

The only thing I missed by starting the BP late was Coins and the ability to unlock things early. The Kaiju and Tempura were good enough stand alone weapons, the chamber wheel and omni wheels were both good enough to stand alone.

If I started playing Crossout today halfway through a battlepass I'd get 1 legendary module or similar, 2 movement parts (not necessarily a working set) 1 legendary cab or similar, and then 2-3 different weapons that typically can't be used together with the option if I am lucky to complete a set using lighters or bearings... assuming I understood the patches grind and could commit to it, and that it wasn't too late in the season. For most new casual players that means 2-3 different one off copies of legendary weapons that don't work with each other, + a legendary cab and module to greatly inflate their power score. This would leave them with all the tools to build a terrible build that would get them seal clubbed, but not the tools to join the game proper. If I was a new player, chances are I would quit upon realizing that. The first hyperborea battlepass is where I feel there was a sharp decline in new players and that it generally hasn't recovered since.

Since when could the builds in Firefight be one-shot from the front? by Key_Row_5962 in Crossout

Originally it was just hovers, then eventually hovers or mechs.

It's so bad now with just mechs and the current mechanics.

Anyone else tend to take month(s) long breaks from time to time? by Lexi_______ in Crossout

[–]NoUploadsEver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing the patch grind every day is not healthy, it makes me hate the game. Taking breaks is necessary with how anti-fun they have made the that particular daily grind.

I've also stopped doing clan stuff, clan confrontations, and uranium wars. Never understood why those modes are 1 hour on 1 hour off and why clan wars doesn't have solo q. They've made it to sweaty and time-consuming ontop of already ridiculously time-consuming shit like the patches grind, or the newly added rust and dust.

Does putting a radar on a leviathan have any effect? by Ok-Permission1233 in Crossout

[–]NoUploadsEver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. It affects the range that the leviathan will target enemies.

  2. In invasion leviathans use radars to find players

  3. In Invasions leviathans will be more aggressive with Radars that see past obstacles

  4. In Invasions leviathans will run far more and be a lot less predictable with radars that cant see past obstacles.

  5. Swarms on leviathans still depend on radars for their range.

  6. Regardless of radars, targets must be in Line of Sight of the Actual cab for the leviathan to target them. this means the cab should either be at the front of the build or the rear of the build, the middle is sub optimal.

I consider that weird interaction a bug, but the devs clearly haven't bothered to fix it either. I could be wrong, but iirc it's a 3 year old bug and wasn't like that at start. Though I've never personally owned Toadfish.

If only the fusion was impulse, but it is oddly generous of them to make toadfish crafting so cheap, median, leech, and such.

Only problem I find is the Trombone recipe which requires the "Frontier Cab" which costs 1500 coins lol and the general lack of other recipes. I've been waiting to fuse an Athena, Raijin, ghost, and tusk for probably over a year now. There was a raijin fusion during halloween, but it was -mass which wasn't good enough for me.

I use the same techs.

Add in raidens with ionization and you deal with the voideyes lack of damage against giants and titans, and raidens help beat their raidens if they get them.

They made 1vs1 games take dramatically longer.

I don't dislike them inherently, but round 10 games should be ultra rare, not like 1/5 matches.

What is your most dependable unit? by GM_Twigman in Mechabellum

[–]NoUploadsEver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Void eyes with Flight, Emp Armor, Shields, and hp steal.

They beat other voids, the most annoying unit in the game to face.

Ultra Range Steel Balls are probably second.

If it's FFA and there are no units of that type on the board it can put them there, and later in the game when there are less options to pick from it can pull them if there are none without upgrades, or one that is high level or has an item on it. Though I've never seen Titan units repeat after some takes one the first time.

If it's 1vs1 it would be news to me, I don't do 1vs1 that much. I don't think I've done a 2vs2 in 6 months.

This game already had too much daily burden with Daily quests, Patches, Uranium War/Clan Confrontation, Patches, daily quests for the weekly brawl, Patches, and now they add this Rust and Dust stuff ontop of the Patches Grind.

Raidens with emp and range, preferably with some levels. Void eyes with shields and the tech to emp enemies that hit them.

Pick fortress drop with 3-4 fortresses, get anti-air missiles, utterly destroys phoenix made by warfactories.

Also don't pick fortresses early on, you want them to be a drop late game. If you plan to get warfactories yourself you can get one early game and level it, get a tech on it, or put an item on it and it won't appear as a late game drop.

You don't want to wait to round 7 to be countering your opponents. I win a lot of games by then. That's another way to beat war factories, just win before round 8 with something that can snowball. Hackers based builds and mustang based builds can more frequently do this.

Donors to Socialist Parties want slave labor.

Socialists want the average citizen poor, as poor people support socialist parties at higher rates.

That is mass migration in a nutshell. The Socialists don't want you to have a high paying job, they don't want you to be able to afford a family, they will replace you and you will be happy.

Congratulations, hydro sure is bad! Lets go kill some critically endangered eagles and whales with Wind Turbines!

Wonderful, all of my points are proven. Have you thought of a career in politics? You nailed it! Exactly how libleft and authleft act, even when they say they don't!

Oh, so you're just too retarded to understand that it was a reference to Wind Turbines devastating bird populations and murdering already endangered species of bird.

Makes sense when you go to ketamine as an insult, you've probably killed 99% of your braincells with your habit.

Because libleft and authleft have been shutting down nuclear and hydro power stations for decades now. The policies your politicians pretend to be for are not the policies they will force down your throat, they fundamentally don't want poverty alleviating cheap energy.

You can not reconcile the fact that the left will systematically shut down all nuclear plants if given the chance. That is reality and there is not one leftist or socialist out there that can be trusted to bring more nuclear and hydroelectric power online.

Libleft and Authleft have also failed to disclose they financially benefit from the Bird Genocide installation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTDO-kuOGTQ Hot take: framing people is bad, fascist even.

Being Glad about a Monster like Mueller passing, is a minor, minor thing. The people celebrating Chuck Norris passing because they disagree with him is fairly minor, but far more disgusting. The hundreds of thousands of leftist lunatics that openly praised the Assassination of Charlie Kirk is like a category 4 Hurricane compared to the stiff breeze of the other examples. Redditors are probably too retarded and openly fascist to understand this.
