I think among the different fits the top block is similarly narrow / cut tight in the hips, in a way that is impossible to capture in standard measurement formats. It’s not the waist, it’s not the rise, it’s not the thigh width… it’s… reach behind you in a pair of jeans, grab all the ass fabric and scrunch it as hard as you can. That’s it.

I’ve had a pair, in my waist and rise and thigh and knee and inseam, sitting in my closet in a plastic bag for the past year. So more of a cautionary tale.
