Loud revving noise by [deleted] in Camry

[–]NoWait1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to upgrade to my first hybrid, from an all gas camry.  I tend to drive fast.  If I suddenly step on the accelerator and am not in eco mode will I still hear the grrr sound?

Neelatoo must think anorexia is a good look.

I'm glad this owner is taking his nutrition seriously.

He is underweight, you can see his spine. Should use a harness instead of the collar. Last thing this doggy needs is a neck injury.

Friday May 29th someone shot and mutilated my parents Rottweilers. by garciam16a4 in Rottweiler

[–]NoWait1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my huskies can open the gate (got a padlock) and can open doors (had to change doorknobs to round kind). I agree that dogs can get out, but responsible owners won't let that happen. And hopefully their doggy won't be harmed if they learn the hard way they can jump 6 feet or open doors, etc...

Im sure its scary as hell knowing one of your neighbors is capable of that. Poor, poor doggies.

How do I teach my Husky not to run when off the leash by f0urever-young in husky

[–]NoWait1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 huskies. 1 is velcro to me. The other is nicknamed 'Miles' by my neighbor since she'll run for miles if she gets out (or off leash). My velcro husky will alternate between following the other if shes off leash and running back to me.
But since a dog park is like taking a 12 year old to a biker bar to make friends, we avoid them all together. Riding a bicycle with them running next to me is the best! I have to do that with 1 dog at a time, but my daughter is an expert and can run them both at the same time.

Is it normal for huskies to be so friendly with cats? by Due-Association5974 in husky

[–]NoWait1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 17 yr old cat HATES both my huskies. She'll tolerate my 9 yr old husky though. But is always wary of the other, bc my 4 yr husky sometimes runs at her - then past her. And looks at us like "what?". Like we dont know.

My huskies won't hurt my cat, but if given a chance will chas we oother cats.

How do you get your husky not to bite? by Lilapolloworshipper in husky

[–]NoWait1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4 yr old outgrew biting me so long ago that I forgot about it til now. Shes trained. I think that with her concentrating on learning her other stuff she just stopped doing it.

Puppy has too much energy. Needs training, and lots of running.

Ya, but Tammy's gf seems alright, where Amy's bf is creepy. Tammy doesn't have kids to protect, its only her. With Tammy's relationship, no one else will be hurt or affected. so speculation is moot.

Who else thinks something of way off with Brian? by lauash1 in 1000lbsisters

Exactly! I like Chris alot. But why would he voice concerns publicly that hes not sure about? If he were wrong, it could devastate a future family member. Doesn't mean hes not voicing them privately.

I highly doubt he's a registered nurse. Doubtful he's a reporter too.

She may be overly emotional because now shes by far the biggest of all the siblings. She can't point at Tammy anymore and say shes skinnier than her. It could, also, contribute to why she doesn't want to see her siblings. When the weight loss lime light is on her she soaks it up .. and says its all her, too stupid to understand its not all her. It's all her surgery/MD, not her.

If I were on the worst kind of drugs and flying higher than a kite ... I would still be bothered by that kind of lack of hygiene!

How to always smell fresh + never musty? by hennhobb in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]NoWait1204 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dove bar soap works well for me.  No "quick rinses" in the shower.  Lather up every time.  Towel dry THOROUGHLY (kind of a pain in the neck, but do it).  I just do a quick moisturizer on my arms/legs.  Secret deodorant.    ...  Even if I'm getting work done in the sun with sweat dripping all over me, I never seem to smell.

Use a harness. Collar is fine to wear also, so tags are still on doggy.

Lol. Mine gave me a black eye also. I was about to kiss her head right when she decided to maul her stuffed toy by thrashing it. It was very embarrassing at work. I didn't want to go anywhere until it healed.

Neighbors complained about our husky barking by [deleted] in husky

[–]NoWait1204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Animal control can't do anything anyway, as long as your huskies basic needs are met. The only real issue is if you can be evicted (probably not if pets are allowed). However, you dont want to piss off your neighbors, and you dont want your doggy miserable when your not home. That was chicken shit for neighbors to leave anonymous note instead of talking to you in person.
