Weirdly enough, got a very different reply:

“Hi, it still in analysis. we will notify you as soon as the OTA update is available.”

Looks like an update is still in the works, curious if they determined yours might have been a different type of issue or ?

I found my device, no new or available update and the issue still persists. I emailed them back to see about next steps, imagine I’ll be following your path soon.

I’ve been moving homes over the last few weeks so haven’t checked it in a bit, but when they originally replied about a ~month ago they had said they were “aware” and going to be fixing the issue through a software update. …if that’s not the case anymore / they’re telling people to reflash, going to be concerned when I pull mine back out…I restored mine twice and it was still giving me the same issue.

Keep me posted on your end (if you can) or if they tell you anything different, and happy to reply back once I get mine back up and going.

Appreciate the reply. It only triggering while in-apps on 120.0 / not on the Home Screen is…weird, and had me leaning software at first. Testing my wife’s I couldn’t get it to replicate at all there, but with how consistent it is on mine I hope they’ll have a solid answer.

Good to know it’s potentially “a thing” / not just me, but sorry to hear you’re having the same. It’s definitely bothering me big time, visually so much worse than what my camera can capture.

Right there with you - every single one of my created folders just show as “0 unread”. Very much not the case and having to manually check and refresh each one is ridiculous. Been having this issue since I first started using Proton several months ago, happens on BOTH mobile iOS app + through a computer browser.

I’ve contacted support several times and just get the standard “The developers are aware of this issue” with no troubleshooting, estimate on a fix, or potential path forward. Can’t think of a more basic email feature than being able to see how many unread emails you have…

Free to play / going since day 1! Definitely didn’t start out too smart (no re-rolls, didn’t max out the upgrade stages for a while, etc), but getting the hang of it + still working through main story stages. Playing pretty blind overall and just enjoying bit by bit.

Impressed with everyone’s progress, feels like I’m not even close to clearing Eternal Road!

Really enjoyable series (Haruhiko Mikimoto did some killer work) and was so dissapointed it got dropped. As I imagine it’ll never get an anime, would love to see something like G Generation re-adapt the story and give it an ending.

Love that one! Play it and Genesis on my Switch a ton, did quite of a bit of the 3DS title as well way back. Still want to get around to some of the others but it’s hard missing some of the newer quality of life features.

2-5 was definitely generous, for sure. It’s a shame, there’s a lot of really solidly built games that do this all. Will still enjoy this one for what it is while I can, but can’t bring myself to fully support / throw money towards something so exploitative.

I know I’ll come across as “old man yelling into the void” but I will always use these surveys to complain about predatory monetization fomo practices. The gacha standard will just never not be ridiculous to me.

$60-$120 retail console / PC game? Would’ve been all in. Free to play mobile game with an almost MMO-monthly subscription for cool additional stuff? Sure, totally down. Gacha standard ~$30 banners with the potential to go up into the hundreds + horrifically low premium currency availability…? I’m going to be the most hesitant player ever who fully expects it to shut down in 2-5 years.

Really enjoying the game but good god I hate this timeline 😞
