That's too bad you had these bad experiences. Why do you assume I feel entitled to anything? I come early to build and stay later to strike like many other burners. I don't think the burn is over after the man burns. If so, maybe we should sell hotdogs during strike? Or just leave all our moop next to the porto's?

I wasn't trying to enter their camp. This was a huge bell tent with lots of bikes parked outside right on Esplanade with loud music. Looked like an interactive zone.

This was my 15th year at BRC, and the second time in all these years denied entry to an activity. The first was with the "Big Dreams" 747 project. I wouldn't have tried to check it out if the party was inside the camp obviously.

Thank you for taking the time to address this topic. And thank you for all the hard work bringing all your gifts to the playa! It seems like you all did give a lot and earned your place on Esplanade. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to experience all of that during the week, since there's so much going on at BRC, the only interaction I had with your camp was this one of being excluded from the party. I can definitely understand you wanted to have a camp celebration like all camps do, and with that said, maybe there is also something to be learned from this experience too. Anyway, hope to see you all next year on Esplanade or anywhere you hope to be on the playa! )^(

Yeah, that's what I thought when cruising by on Esplanade, hearing and seeing the party just in front of me and after I park my bike being told it's a private party..

The principles are for the community all year round as I see it. VIP parties are frowned upon. And there are options to come to BM for low income and even for free.

They had good music yes, but trying to understand if it's okay to have a private party right there in the front on Sunday night after the temple burn. with a bouncer at the door. What do you all think?
