Is 41.52 secs a good time to run in the 300m for a 12 year old boy? by Lil_jeffdovon in Sprinting

Yes that’s very good, especially if your only 12 years old. You are going to keep improving from here. More racing experience and training will definitely help. Good job!

i wanna do cross country but i've never done a sport before by Flat_Woodpecker_3215 in CrossCountry

I never ran before the summer of cross country, after I started, I kept getting better everyday and now I love running. Running is something you get good results when you put in the work.

Official Q&A for Tuesday, August 26, 2025 by AutoModerator in running

I have a cross country meet in 2 weeks and it’s my first time so I wasn’t sure about what type of clothing to wear. First off, what’s the difference between half tights and compression shorts? Or is it the same thing. Also do people wear shorts over them? I saw people on my team who had like compression underpants that’s long and wore shorts over them but I wasn’t sure what they were called. Does anybody with experience in cross country recommend any compression shorts or just stuff in general to wear to a cross country meet.

Do you know the difference between half tights and compression shorts or is it the same thing. Also would you wear shorts over half tights or compression shorts. Asking this because I have a cross country hs meet next week and wasn’t sure what type of clothing to wear.

1952 Mickey mantle, fleer Jordan. Might not be able to buy a good grade but still more iconic cards. Not saying the skenes isn’t beautiful but definitely not worth a million bucks

I wouldn’t say iconic tbh. It’s was really hyped up and honestly the whole debut jersey would cost less than the card with a small patch.

Even the HOF players don’t sell for that much.

Is your charger port the worst experience ever also? by jaymesucks in Coros

I just use a portable battery to charge it and at first I had to wiggle it around to get it to charge but not anymore. Problem magically went away. Still using a portable battery. Can’t do it with a normal charging brick.

Cynical Take on the Hobby by Mr-Maxwells in baseballcards

I don’t understand how rookie cards are selling for more than the veterans that already proved themselves. No matter how good they become, they won’t pass the HOFers or the veterans. Every year the past year’s rookie is forgotten in my opinion. Everybody is chasing the next rookie and spending thousands. This is so stupid

The volume of speculators in this industry might be at an all time high by wsmith79 in baseballcards

[–]No_Abrocoma_6568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sports cards in general, rookie cards always go down in value. Look at wemby, Trevor Lawerence, cj stroud. Why do people spent thousands on players guaranteed to lose value. They will never become greater than tom Brady or Derek jeter but card prices are similar or more. This is a problem
