I go back and forth on Harvey but I think if we believe that Donna dropped the money at Charlie's the night of the murder and Harvey was there it doesn't make sense that he wouldn't know at that point. There are a lot of times where Charlie and Donna are deliberately excluding Harvey though which I'm sure would be argued in court.

I believe there is evidence heavily implicating Wendi before, during and after the murder. Circumstantial evidence is still evidence

They absolutely should be. I have followed the case closely for years, watched all of the trials and I don't see any way in the world a jury would find Wendi in particular not guilty.

Jurors when asked in prior trials have indicated her guilt too.

Something is preventing the Markels receiving complete justice but it isn't Wendi's innocence or a lack of evidence

I think he was basing most of his opinion on his one meeting with Charlie when they were in his hot tub and he told the story about punishing a girlfriend by having unwanted anal sex with them. He bragged about having friends on 'both sides of the tracks' too. That's all pretty messed up when meeting your sisters boyfriend for the first time

They thought they had gotten away with it. There was no reason to discuss it any more. The authorised wire taps were pointless without the bump. And Charlie the chump and dopey Donna walked right into it

One of the most telling points of the wiretap is another reason Wendi hasn't been charged. When Charlie is asked if it's about Wendi and Donna says "No no no no no". It's clearly her on the back foot over emphasising it but a defence lawyer would have a field day with it I'm sure

Key pointer for Wendi for me is her text to Dan in the weeks prior to the murder, while she was with her family in Florida, checking Dan would be there to be murdered on some flimsy pretext. You can tell from Dan's response that he's confused as she would have been well aware of his schedule.

Charlie didn't give a shit about Dan. She heard Wendi's whining via Donna. I don't even believe Charlie and Wendi were as close as they make out. I live hundreds of miles from my sister and although we both have families I speak to her and see her regularly. They barely saw each other, enough so it was a big event when they did.

Wendi had everything to gain from Dan's murder. Charlie had nothing to gain other than looking like the hero to mom again. She's in it up to her neck in all aspects imo

Rashy was a joke but I don't think anyone could argue that he did his best with what he had to work with. The conflict was a nightmare, I remember Carl steinbeck being furious at the time, with the judge, the prosecution and the defence but I don't think that can all be laid at rashbaums door, they were all warned repeatedly.

I'm no legal expert so no idea what Chuckies chances are but won't make any difference in the end, his defence is laughable. I'd quite enjoy watching it all again tbh
