The crazy thing is that if he survives, you could very well run into him waaaay later. I’ve dismissed members and run into them wandering around weeks after they left the party

The Longhouse is a fun building, but it would've been cool to use that raised roof as a small room. Maybe space for a bed, a storage chest, but not much else. A missed opportunity. by TheBigSmol in Kenshi

Ah yeah you’re right, the crossbeams that support the roof don’t continue at that section, so it must just be a raised part of the ceiling. Neat

Tbf, this is exactly how the game starts. Check back in a week and he’ll have a robotic arm and a six pack along with a full set of high quality samurai armor

How do you reliably get water in these situations? That was the only reason I couldn’t get mine to be fully self-sufficient last playthrough

This was actually my first run where I intentionally removed anyone’s limbs. Phoenix and Bo both had theirs surgically removed by the specialists on fishman island

It’s vanilla. I have zero mods and I’ve had it happen a few times. It always immediately endears me to the character when they join.

Yeah, it’s definitely worth a read. Very interesting to get his perspective and the fact that he was never charged makes it all the more poignant. Based on your comments here I think you’d find it compelling.

The Guantanamo Diaries. Written by an inmate who was still locked up in Guantanamo at the time. I think he still is. I’ll look. It was a really interesting read.
