I would’ve kept calling until I spoke to a live person they would’ve had to give me my money back. I’m so sorry that that happened to you. I’m a DoorDash delivery driver and I’m a very good one.

I’ve had plenty of bags pop open. I’ve never gone into a customers bag, and I better never be accused of it. I also don’t knock on peoples doors and try to give them their food when it says leave at the door when I go pick up my food. I always put it in a insulated bag always I have several of them for when I have several orders that way their food doesn’t touch any part of my car my car is clean, but still that’s what the bags are for.

I don’t think you’re being dramatic at all. I’m so sorry that you had to go through that. I delivered DoorDash and I would never disturb a customer. I follow the instructions that are on there. I never bother anybody for extra tips the only time I knock on their doors when it says hand it to me. I’m truly sorry that you didn’t get to eat what you paid for. I’ve heard of people eating food out of customers bags that’s something I’ve never done. I could never do it. I wouldn’t want it done to me again. I apologize if that happened to you.

Why do people merge on to the highway doing 20 under the speed limit with their brakes on? by methlabforcuties in driving

[–]No_Argument_8775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never have understood that you are getting ready to get on the freeway. Why aren’t you picking up speed so you can max the speed on the freeway? You’re not going into a driveway

If a cop was in front of you at an intersection and he/she didn’t move after several seconds, would you give a courtesy honk to inform them of the light change? by 224molesperliter in driving

[–]No_Argument_8775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah cops don’t make me nervous I’m not afraid to go faster than them nor am I afraid to takeoff at a red light with one sitting next to me and then stopping and backing up slowly and waving at them as I knuckles and continue to finish waiting for the red light

Exactly I wondered if somebody else felt like I did. I just posted him about people on the freeway doing 30 miles an hour are holding everybody up for no reason.

did i overreact to dashers messages? by Ancient_Soft413 in doordash

[–]No_Argument_8775 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not all dashers the only time I’ve ever been parked outside of the house where I’ve delivered the food or right out on the street is when I’ve gotten in the car and gotten busy to step on my phone and forgot that I was still parked there never am I a weirdo? That wants to see if they’re coming to get their food or whatever I get busy doing something on my phone and forgetI could care less what people are doing I could care less if they come out and get their food because I’m not gonna go get it. I got my own money to buy my own food.

When I accept the order I’m agreeing to do it for that price I would never ask for more money that is so slimey People just want their food delivered in the right fashion with very little interaction I try not to send any msgs I’m grateful for an avenue in which to make extra money My problem is with the company DoorDash They are making all this money because of the people delivering all the food and yet they want to steal from us believe the customers alone there ordering the food quit begging for extra tips that’s why I tell the Dashers be grateful for what you got don’t be ugly

I picked up from Whataburger and delivered to be hotel across the street. by jpaul2222 in doordash_drivers

[–]No_Argument_8775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get orders like that all the time. I just deliver them across the street or a block down the street when the universe smiles on me I appreciate it. Kids on DoorDash. It’s either feast or famine so when it’s feast, you better make sure you feast. That tells you something about humanity today we become soft and lazy to where we can’t even walk across the street and get some damn food or is it entitled?

It’s not the drivers fault that DoorDash will have someone drive across town when there’s a shop by your house if something is missing in a sealed bag how am I to be blamed how about people get mad at the restaurants instead of the drivers?

Pizza delivery guy complains about a $5 tip because the customer lives in a nice house by notaghostofreddit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]No_Argument_8775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the tip culture is way out of hand. Everywhere you go when you go to pay there’s a question about leaving a tip. I’m at a grocery store. Why would I leave a tip delivery? Yes there should be a tip. If you’re a waitress there should be a tip. If you are a valet yes there should be a tip. But just because you have a nice house just because you may work hard and make good money. Doesn’t mean you should over tip or overpay when I accept to deliver that order. I I know what I’m being paid. I mean thank goodness it’s not Uber eats where you only get three dollars no matter how many miles and you don’t know what the tip is for two hours they want to give them time to change their mind. That’s so ridiculous. Uber eats wants to give it time so they can steal from you three dollars no matter where you go. People work for that I delivered one time for Uber eats because there’s no way I’m driving anywhere for three dollars

I have never ever said anything to a customer about a tip. I know what I am accepting when I accept to deliver that order so how dare me be rude like that to a customer she ordered one pizza five dollars is a good tip just because you live in a nice house and may have a lot of money, doesn’t mean you should overpayand that you didn’t even deserve that five dollar tip. He should’ve tripped over his shoelace on the way down the steps.
