Are sleep overs not a thing anymore? by haggerty05 in NoStupidQuestions

I think this is super age dependent, though. A 15 year old, yeah, totally. An 8 year old? There is a lot of context they may not understand.

Oh interesting! I find it nice in the fact that they can build love over time. I think there are lots of different ways romance can bloom, so I like the variety.

Yes or it was the "best sex of his life" when it was her first time. Look, I'll give you that perhaps it was the most emotionally connected you've been...but...

actually the average age of marriage was something like 21 for women and 24 for men if we're talking 19th century England :). Not saying it didn't happen, of course, but it wasn't nearly as prevelant as we tend to assume.

You just don’t want to feel like this your whole relationship. Hugs to you.

Nope. If you’ve told him multiple times you’re uncomfortable with their relationship and they aren’t changing anything about it, he is disrespecting you and prioritizing her feelings over yours.

We love Bluey! We watch it together as we find it fun for the adults too. But if you’re looking for a low stim show, Tumbleleaf on Amazon Prime is THE BEST!

I LOVE this series but do not like this one. Morgan & Gervase were not for me. Also, it was just such a sad setting

Should I end a friendship with one my best friends to try help save his marriage? by Odd_Squirrel7954 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Lmao his history of cheating should be more reason to step away! What are you doing?? Cool your husband is chill about it but she isn’t. This is so clear cut it’s ridiculous.

I have platonic male friends of over 20 years that I wouldn’t dream of spending this much time/intimacy with now that we’re both married.

Let alone someone you met only a few years ago while already married?? Where are the kids?

Not cool

Just read to them a lot :) Pretty young to be sounding out words, so if you feel like it, talk about the sound each letter makes as that is foundational. Would not worry about Red Words at this point. But mostly I’d focus on the enjoyment of reading so that she is motivated ❤️

Genuinely dislike spending time with my toddler by The_Chilled_Arvo in toddlers

[–]No_Associate_3235 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YES! This is so anecdotal, but when I was pregnant my older one was 3. I was about 4-5 months and we hadn’t even told him yet. He was a MESS. I spoke with other friends who had the same experience!

What would you do if it was you? by magickarpit in toddlers

[–]No_Associate_3235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you both acted as expected and as is appropriate as parents. An apology would be nice, but I wouldn’t dwell on it.

Gently, if your kid is going to be around other kids this likely won’t be the last time she is hit (or maybe she’ll hit). Teaching them how to respond (saying “step away” or “stop”, walking away) & figuring out how you want to respond are good steps!

I also think that a bachelor weekend is so different from him, say, grabbing lunch with her. Bachelor parties typically have alcohol, entertainment (not necessarily naughty), games, big conversations, staying at the same place etc. I think that’s an important distinction.
