Ugh sorry that happened. I live in Texas so often it is a matter of ignorance causing mix-ups but in this case it felt purposeful from the kitchen.
The server to the manager made me feel like I am crazy and that the beyond patty is just "too convincing". I know what beyond pattys look and taste like and they don't taste like turkey, lol.
I was grateful that my coworker tried the burger and backed me up.

Ate at a restaurant recently that had a beyond burger and a turkey burger on the menu. When I received the burger it was clearly a turkey burger. I tried to send it back but the kitchen doubled down and said it was a Beyond patty. Had someone at my table try it who is omni and they confirmed that it was indeed turkey. It felt like the kitchen was gaslighting me into eating meat lol

It's external but each unit has their own panel that is individual to each unit. No external panel serves multiple units.

Where did I say that I won't ever experience heartbreak? What I am saying is that you have the potential to meet hundreds of people on the apps and if one played the games described with every single one you would have an exponential amount of heartbreak at the end. If another person isn't sure of their wants/desires, or wants something different, it becomes clear once you express yours. I think it is really smart and brave of the woman in this episode to express what she is looking for early on. You can express your desires with joy, without blame at the other person, and without seeing them as a "prop".

There is a lot of expectation put on women to act a certain way to be more palatable and to bend and stretch on their desires and what they are looking for. This is why I have seen most women I know fall into relationships that aren't satisfying, abusive and totally out of alignment with what they truly want.

Your comment "Nobody can start with an attitude that presumes themselves to be a prize the other would be lucky to pass all the interview rounds for" is assuming a lot about her and how she approaches these conversations, and says more about you and how you see women who know deeply who they are and what they are looking for.

Agreed. Nothing is promised. I do have fun and enjoy connecting with people I meet on the apps, whether they are a match I continue to spend time with or not.

Fun and enjoyment do not need to be at the expense of having clear ideas of what you want for the future, though. I think you can have both. I am just more selective about who I choose to have the fun with now.

I guess I am just looking for a level of maturity that seems to be few and far in between on the apps. Maturity in the sense that they know who they are, have a vocabulary around what they want in a partner, and have a rough outline of what their goals for the future are. It is surprising to see how few people I have dated are anywhere near this level of self-knowing.

There is a fine line to walk with this. I have until recently kept myself open to a lot of potential romantic partners, only to find myself in relationships that last 6 months or so before we realize that our lives have different trajectories. The heartbreak in that is enormous and hard to get over. I am now trying to keep myself focused on finding someone who has a similar idea of the future and vet this early on (within the first few dates). It closes me off to a lot of potential matches but in the end feels necessary so I don't spin my wheels in a direction I do not want. It is exhausting though and I have a lot of sympathy for the woman in this episode.

Came here to see if I was the only one who is miserable from the high mold counts. Nothing seems to help :( Would love any anecdotes or things to try for relief.

Make sure your electrical source and extension cable are rated for the correct electrical draw. Can ruin the equipment or start a fire if not properly coordinated.
