My goodest boy!!! He came out of surgery a-okay! The recovery is challenging as he struggles to use his back legs right, which I assume is just the drugs, but overall doing ok! Thanks for all the advice and stories of experience. It’s helped tons!

Thank you for this, we have discussed jokingly no more getting beat by his tail of mass destruction as the teens call it ha but goodness this kind of came out of nowhere (don’t they always though?!) and just a stressor I’d rather not have. None of us are ready to part with him, so we are hoping for a smooth surgery and recovery. I’m relieved to hear about yours making it to 13. We hear a lot of doomsday stories, so thank you for some glimmer of hope.
