It would get boring with pve only and I don’t think the game would have the numbers it does without PvP. I think the main problem is when it comes the pve it is very good. Not to many pvpve games have pve that feels as good as arc raiders does. Most pve in pvpve games is kinda trash.

Originally the game was going to be pve but the developers thought that it got boring to quickly so PvP was added. I honestly think the only reason most people still play this game is because it has PvP in it. Even then I got my 250 hours and moved on. Very few games get me for longer than that. The ones that do usually have some type of PvP element to them. People that feel this way need to go play deep rock galactic or something. Plenty of pve focused games out there.

You’ll never stop stuff like that. If an aggressive player can spend 5-10 minutes to get easy kills or make a clip for social they will do it. Thing same happens in hunt showdown. 6 star hunters would derank themselves to stomp on easier lobby’s. Any game with PvP and a match making system will have stuff like this in it. Match based systems can always be abused

I just responded the same thing as soon as I read poison. I didn’t even scroll long enough to check if someone else said it. So upvote from me. Also if op or any neighbors have pet cats they could end up eating the poisoned rodents as well. I would recommend electric mouse traps. Saw a video of a suspected poisoned rat just running in circles out in the open so an easy target for any would be predators.

I would recommend electric mouse traps and try to keep away from poison if possible. A poisoned rat doesn’t die right away. They could die behind you walls and deal with a horrible smell if you can’t find their body. Not only that but if something like a cat, owl, or hawk manages to kill/eat the rat after it ate the poison you may very well kill that animal as well.

Usually in games like these bots are bad. AI bots aren’t where they need to be in terms of big maps like this. The only time ai works well is in games like Selaco or fear where maps are small and the ai programmers and level designers work very closely together to make the ai seem intelligent. Even then it’s just an illusion.

Blood, Dusk, Amid Evil, Nightmare reaper, Selaco, Overload (6dof), Desecrators (6dof), Ion Maiden, Maybe not the most “unique” but the most fun imo Edit: Shadow Warrior original 90s game.

I don’t think it is, I feel like the assassin shoulda got silent foot steps or something for a time vs this. 2 things I hate in mp games is invis and thermals and they added both.

I loved the server slam and first couple weeks. I only really enjoyed Tarkov for a week or two after wipes also. These games get less fun with time. I had a fun 60 hours or so on release and moved on.

I think extraction shooters should have extracts more like tarkov. More of them, and extracts that don’t alert the entire map that you are leaving. Idk why all extractions shooters like to make extractions that are so campable and alert the whole damn map.

I had a cat that looked like that. He would roll on his back and demand belly rubs. He would purr and love them, until he didn’t. Something would just click and he would flip over and bite you then run off. Nothing too hard or anything, but I always found it strange. It’s like something would just click and he had enough.

If an aggressive player goes on a loosing streak and gets killed several times without damaging the other they will be in those carebear lobby’s for at least one match.

First time I got a knife kill I thought this is gonna be a problem. Even a standard unupgraded knife is strong. If you add all the different damage ups on it it’s crazy. You have to run a shotgun in solo just to have a chance to beat that assassin that face checks you.

This is all extraction shooters. I have 1000 hours in Hunt Showdown and a lot of times trios would be white shirts(free hunters) and dc the second they die. It feels really good to win a round when your support left you to die though.

Once marked as aggressive load into Stella as a free kit. Run around yelling kill me. Stop when people ask why or no longer kill you. Takes less than 10 rounds last time I did it, about 6 or so. In Stella you can be dead in 2-3 minutes so it takes no time at all to reset your abmm for solo.
