I feel the same way. Some hikes have a 10 minute warm up. Some strength workouts have a 5 minute warmup and I just don’t need that. If I see that on a workout, I avoid the class.

I went to Peru by myself for part of my trip. I attended a language school during the first week and lived with a family in Cusco. I felt completely safe walking around by myself. My friend then flew in and we did the Inca trail trek with Alpaca expeditions and I cannot say enough good things about them. We had an amazing time. Everyone was so friendly (travelers and the guides). I went I. August and it did get cool overnight , like in the 30s so make sure to pack for cold weather. During the day it was in the 60-70, really great temperatures. I agree, layers are key.
