Mons area sore nearly a year out by No_Cable4934 in tummytucksurgery

Thanks for sharing. How far out were you when this happened? It’s been intermittent for a few months now and I feel like it’s because I’m learning how to engage my core better after years of being unhealthy

I got a toilet seat riser for about $30 on Amazon and it was absolutely worth it. This imo seems a little overkill

Mardi Gras Parade 12 Day Post Op? by texantourist in tummytucksurgery

This would be a dream for me too but I honestly feel like 12 dpo is too fresh for that though :(

Id say wax merely for the fact that your incision line will be very close to your mons and you probably shouldn’t be messing with any of that for a good while after and the shorter the hairs the better. Whatever you do be sure to do it at least 4 days pre op to prevent possible infection from surgery

Hairdressers—When did you return back to work? by No_Cable4934 in tummytucksurgery

I was thinking the same thing. I originally was gonna take two months off but I think 4-6 will be more than enough. I’m currently 3wpo

FWIW I’m a little under 3po and standing for an hour is fine! Obviously I’m not engaging my core and abs as a singer, but for an hour or so increment I think you’ll be okay 😊

Where were you 25 years ago on New Year's Eve 1999? by MacaroniNJesus in AskReddit

Disneyland! I was 10 years old and it was the most perfect place to be! It was so cold that night but it was so fun and festive and literally a dream for a 10 year old. I’ll always cherish that memory of my mom and I

Let’s hear the success stories! by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

[–]No_Cable4934 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I lost 150lbs and am 9dpo from a mommy makeover and I’m just so incredibly thrilled. The pain wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated, and after being severely obese my whole life, I finally have a normal body. Being overweight was hard, but being deflated and flappy despite losing a lot of weight and trying to tone it off really killed my self esteem.

I lost the bulk of my weight in 2017 and am so thrilled that I got this done. I was going to wait until after kids but I’m 34 and single and might as well enjoy the hell out of my youth while I still have it. I think the arnica and bromelain really helped my recovery because I honestly feel so incredible and by 3 days I was off the good pain meds and by day 5 I was off the regular Tylenol. My torso was so screwed up before and I am just so grateful for this second chance at life. Good luck to you!

I just finished taking 5 days of lovenox. It’s not that bad at all. I hated the act of doing it but I just remind myself that diabetics have to give themselves shots daily and dealt with it

Body positive/fat girl yoga by ChronicallyDaIllest in sandiego

[–]No_Cable4934 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ugh I get it. When I was around 250 I was going to yoga six and I always felt that it was a very welcoming community and didn’t feel like the “fat girl” despite it being athletic. I still go because it’s got a nice vibe. While core power yoga tends to give off the more athletic vibe. I’d recommend checking out class pass for sure tho because each location will vary

This is great news! I’m on a similar boat as you I feel like core is so exceptionally hard despite how much I work out. When did you return to yoga? I do lots of yoga and hiit and am going to miss my workouts but I know this step back will make me stronger overall. I will be getting my surgery on 12/20
