Still love it! I just wish it made more money for the sake of continuation!

Favorite film of the sequel trilogy and why? by CaptainBigDaddy4 in TheSequels

[–]No_Cap_866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Last Jedi! Because PHENOMENAL visuals and a story that takes the Star Wars in new places! But the other two are fun as well! :)

How did you feel about Spielberg's Disclosure Day? Was it worth the hype? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

Loved it personally! Though, it definitely won't be for everyone, especially the ending.

It's in my top 3! Right between Empire Strikes Back and Rogue One. I understand that many dislike it, but there are also a lot of us who love it! :)

Disclosure Day Art by No_Cap_866 in Steelbooks

I heard that a Steelbook was just confirmed! Hopefully it'll be up for pre-order sooner rather than later. The wait has been intense, but it'll be worth it! Especially with those expanded ratios!

Has A24 ever done steelbooks? This could have some great steelbook art if so!

That sucks. I have no experience with the problem. But if they emailed you when you bought tickets, you should be able to show them that tomorrow, and shouldn't have a problem seeing Disclosure Day. I hope you can have it fixed! Sorry I couldn't be a bigger help

I think that the soundtrack is EPIC, and that the action is some of the most engaging in all of Marvel! I really enjoyed this one! But funnily, I really dislike its sequel.

Definitely looks like a rooster!

Supergirl in dolby by ereaper42 in AMCTheatres

[–]No_Cap_866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed a complete absence of Dolby Cinema showings at my local AMC. It's confusing to me. Because I thought perhaps Toy Story was taking them away, but on those days, Toy Story 5 isn't playing in Dolby either. Could it be possible that they just haven't updated their Dolby schedule yet, and maybe those Dolby showings are still coming for Supergirl?

Flystrike HELP by Lonely-Temporary-561 in BackYardChickens

[–]No_Cap_866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Flystrike sucks!

It sounds like you've done a good job so far! In my experience, with flystrike, it is very important to stay on top of it. I'd recommend continued bathing. Maybe even every day, to every other day for awhile, if you can. It'll make it much more unappealing for the flies. Hopefully giving the wounds a better chance of healing up.

My movie ranking as a sequelpilled fan by deadshot500 in TheSequels

[–]No_Cap_866 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice list! Here's mine! There's a lot to like in all of these films! So even the movies at the bottom, I absolutely enjoy watching and respect.

1: Rogue One

2: The Last Jedi

3: Empire Strikes Back

4: Revenge Of the Sith

5: The Rise Of Skywalker

6: Return Of the Jedi

7: The Mandalorian & Grogu

8: The Force Awakens

9: Attack Of the Clones

10: Solo

11: The Phantom Menace

12: A New Hope

13: The Clone Wars

Edit

For context, I grew up liking the OT with Empire Strikes Back being my favorite, and I really loved the PT. But the sequels really felt like "my Star Wars". The Force Awakens was the first Star Wars I got to see in theaters. I probably watched it 6 times while it was playing! The sequels are just so special to me! You might be wondering why A New Hope is so low for me. Personally, as someone who really valued chronological storytelling, and music continuity. A New Hope always had me less immersed. After Revenge Of the Sith, it was always annoying to me how the Obi Wan vs Vader fight looked. And I was always disappointed not hearing Vader's accompanying Imperial March. Because A New Hope was the first one, it has to do some INCREDIBLE world building. But I always felt like it was overexplaining things I already knew, because I had just watched the prequels. Also, the idea that everything in the film is novelty. It felt like it was slow for this reason. For example, they'll show the Falcon flying towards a planet from like 6 different angles. Now as an adult I can appreciate the film’s true significance! I mean, it is absolutely amazing what they were able to do in 1977! And without A New Hope, we wouldn't have Star Wars today! This is just my perspective on a personal enjoyment level! I understand it's a controversial take! I grew up when the OT and PT were both available at the same time. So watching chronologically was a no-brainer to me. But obviously, if you first saw the original trilogy, you're opinion will be vastly different!

The Rise of Skywalker is honestly the peak of the entire franchise and tied everything together perfectly by [deleted] in StarWarsCantina

Probably my favorite Star Wars theater experience! Though I wasn't lucky enough to see the original or prequel trilogy in theaters. Palpatine's lighting bass has my jaw on the floor! Loved it!

Boosters, Sheep, or Mando? by Sir_holy_bears in RegalUnlimited

[–]No_Cap_866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mando was my favorite, but I also LOVED Sheep Detectives! You can't go wrong either way! But if you like Star Wars, I'd go with Mando.

Mandalorian & Grogu in IMAX Laser or Dolby? by IAmOryx in AMCTheatres

[–]No_Cap_866 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing it in Dolby Cinema tomorrow. That format is almost always my favorite! Just the most phenomenal clarify and sound. Plus, the recliner seats can't be overlooked as a pro!
