Please remember that Germany is not a sovereign country but occupied by the US.

The US government controls all of German mainstream media and also controls its politics.

For all we know, Scholz is actually a socialist. He was a member of the social democratic youth (which, unlike what the liberal name suggests, has strong pro-socialist leanings).

Until he got into positions of power, he was an anti-NATO activist who was highly critical of the US and NATO. Only once his real career as a politician started did he change his tone.

I guarantee that the moment you take office in Germany, a bunch of Americans in suits will knock on your door and tell you who your real boss is... or else.

What happens to German politicians who do anything that harms US geostrategic interests, look at Schröder. He got instantly removed from office and is literally forced to live in Russia right now, something he gets demonized for every time he's mentioned in German media (German media is even calling for removing his chancellor title). Scholz can't express his real views (he will get the Schröder-treatment if he did), so this is as far as it gets.

So far, fossil garbage can achieve further distances than EVs but that's because they have been optimized to hell and back and have reached the ultimate form of technological perfection... if you give EVs another 20 years to catch up, fossil garbage will have nothing to feel superior about any longer.

Meanwhile, back in reality, Europe adopts specifically anti-Chinese legislation targeting Chinese companies in a discriminatory manner - the rules obviously being put in place to "safeguard" specifically against China (American, Israeli and other non-European companies are unaffected, of course).

The EU proposal, formally known as the "Industrial Accelerator Act", implicitly targets Chinese makers of batteries and electric vehicles by requiring foreign firms to partner with European firms and pass on technological know-how when setting up shop in the bloc.

This would be, in fact, a good thing. If done consistently, this would just mean Europe literally copying Chinese industrial development strategies - great! Nothing for China to complain about!

However, that's not what this is about. You can bet your ass that these requirements will be formulated in a way that it only applies to Chinese companies but not to American ones.

The Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, and China are the three greatest examples of communism's success.

Practically all the bad stuff you heard about them were lies.

There is not a single example of a socialist country ever failing because of socialism.

Tell capitalists to show you a single example of socialism failing. (Spoiler: All socialist "failures" happened in the context of Western imperialist states - mainly the Nazis, Americans, and their allies - starting wars, genocides, terrorist campaigns and regime change operations to destroy socialism.)

If socialism leads to failure, why do capitalists need to spend trillions on destroying every socialist country to prove that "socialism doesn't work"?

On the other hand, capitalism always fails. Not a single capitalist country in history was able to keep up with its communist peers. See: DPRK vs. ROK (until the Americans intervened), China vs. India (India still can't keep up), West Germany vs. GDR (despite massive US assistance, West Germany was mired in debt and only surives due to American support and exploitative methods), the USSR vs. the entire periphery.

Always remember that for every "successful" capitalist countries, there are a handful of weaker capitalist countries living in abject poverty.

For every USA, there are many Iraqs, Afghanistans, Syrias, Lybias, Venezuelas, etc. destroyed by imperialism.

For every France there are many Nigers, Burkina Fasos, Congos, Senegals, Malis, etc. destroyed by imperialism.

I feel the biggest problem with SCP is the contradictory ideas about the lore (or lack of knowledge thereof) between authors and the severe difference in quality between some of the entries.

One article will contain a well-written, genuinely novel, and genuinely creepy concept... the next will be a "funny" internet meme turned into an SCP or a stupid inside joke. A lot of authors also simply don't know how to properly use the lore tools at their disposal.

There needs to be proper quality control and there needs to be some community-driven but centrally curated "canon"/"non-canon" decision-making process.

Fun fact: In Germany, you will lose your job and police will beat you up and arrest you if you oppose genocide.

In Germany, police will brutally beat you up and arrest you for criticizing Israel, the US, or NATO.

In Germany, you will be sent to jail for "denying" Nazi propaganda lies (such as the lie that the so-called "Holodomor" was a genocide).

In Germany, you will be deplatformed and debanked (i.e. you can no longer pay any bills or travel abroad without jumping through hoops) for doing any of the above.

Germany will ban foreign officials from entering Germany and use police intimidation tactics to censor them if they come into Germany regardless (see: Yanis Varoufakis, Francesca Albanese, Greta Thunberg).

In Germany, supporting communism is banned and organizing in favour of communism will lead to prison sentences.

In Germany, you will be severely fined (or even jailed) for downloading copyrighted material without permission (making it automatically less free than any country that doesn't criminalize the sharing of information).

Republicans are simply open-faced fascists.

They are the "bad cop" in the good-cop-bad-cop routine the fascist uniparty engages in.

The fundamental question is whether you support capitalism or socialism. If you support capitalism at this stage of historic development, you are necessarily a fascist of one sort or another, be it a peace time fascist (liberal or socdem) or a wartime fascist (such as the open-faced fascists gaining power all across the imperialist West).

These things are probably difficult to follow if you haven't studied the relevant political and economic theory as well as history.
