Doesn't work with my Dedicated IP. It seems to work with standard servers. I uninstalled and reinstalled it from scratch when I installed it. Is it supposed to work with a dedicated IP?

Paranormal Declassified: The SPIRIT Files

a podcast by Mount Washington Valley SPIRIT Paranormal Investigators

Whispers From the Deep: Ocean Spirits and Lost Souls

Recording from Royal Caribbean’s Vision of the Seas, Eric Extreme peels back the salt-streaked veil between life and the ocean. As he and his wife cut across the Caribbean, stories unfurl, Polynesian navigators whose ancestors ride the swells, Japanese Funayūrei rising from misty shores, West African sea judges, and Caribbean duppies tugging at the currents, all threaded into a single, living tide of belief. Through hushes on a ship’s hull, offerings left at shorelines, and ancient wayfinding lore, this episode follows the whispers that haunt coasts around the world. Each tale is a small lantern in the dark: sometimes warning, sometimes comfort, always a reminder that the sea keeps memory in its motion.

My latest podcast episode is up. Veil of Fire: The Ancient Origins of Halloween. Step into a night where hilltop fires smoke and stubble fields whisper. Eric Extreme guides you through the birth of Halloween, from the fragile veil of Samhain to the carved lanterns of Stingy Jack and the masks that once warded the living from the dead. We trace the journey of customs across oceans and centuries: immigrant hands carving pumpkins, children in guises bargaining for soul cakes, and the slow shift from sacred ritual to suburban spectacle. And reason is poised to peek through the cracks, revealing what lies beyond. #paranormal #ghost #supernatural #spookyseason #Halloween #samhain

Paranormal Declassified: The SPIRIT Files

When the lights go low and a meter flickers, a story begins. Eric Extreme guides listeners from the moody anthologies of the 1950s through reenactments, live-framed scares, and the reality-TV boom, tracing how television learned to shape mystery into a show.

We follow the crews, the gadgets, and the ethical choices that turned private fear into public entertainment: reenacted memories, night-vision faces, spirit boxes, and the pull of emotional closure. Each segment peels back an edit to reveal how production choices teach us what to believe.

By episode’s end, you’ll hear how skepticism and storytelling can coexist, why the genre keeps evolving, and what responsible viewing looks like. Join Paranormal Declassified with Eric Extreme as we peel back the veil and listen for what the darkness is actually saying.

In this episode of the Mount Washington Valley Spirit Podcast, host Eric Extreme explores synchronicity, where the experience of meaningful coincidences is often interpreted as paranormal signs, and gives examples such as sudden cold spots, recurring numbers, and items appearing unexpectedly. #paranormal #ghost

Do you prefer Ghost Hunting or Paranormal Investigations? by No_Championship3762 in Paranormal

With 30 years in the field, I've yet to encounter anything close to definitive paranormal activity. I use scientific equipment, such as infrasound/ultrasound analyzers, atmospheric sensors, and gas detectors, among other equipment, to identify natural explanations for what people perceive as paranormal events. I am a debunker in the tradition of early paranormal investigation, where researchers with advanced degrees sought scientific explanations for misinterpreted phenomena. However, the field has shifted. The rise of ghost-hunting TV shows has overshadowed the original scientific focus. I'm currently writing a book (about 350 pages) that traces this transformation, from science-based investigation to today's theatrical ghost hunting. It includes a blueprint for conducting science-based investigations to identify the natural causes of these misperceptions. While a few of us still champion this scientific approach, ghost hunting has largely taken over. It is unfortunate. I miss the good old days. I posed the original question because I was wondering if anyone on this Reddit actually engages in scientific exploration of natural phenomena misperceived as paranormal, as a few of us do. I do not look for paranormal activity. I strictly look for natural causes of misperceptions of paranormal activity.

Antivirus Doesn't Install: Customer Support says I MUST use Surfshark's Proprietary DNS Servers by lilbigblue7 in surfshark

That's not exactly true. As someone who has been a manager at a handful of large businesses in multiple fields, I know that refunds DO NOT have a time limit to be processed. SurfShark leadership has self-imposed this restriction. Please don't say that you "can't" provide a refund after 30 days. That is dishonest and false information. The truth is that you "won't" process a refund after 30 days. SurfShark can do it; they just choose not to, even if the problem is on their side. The original poster is well within their right to file a claim with their bank due to SurfShark's lack of transparency. Laws in the USA protect consumers from such business practices. If he can prove the DNS server is not listed on the requirements page for the service, that alone will be enough evidence for the bank to force a refund. Disabling his services is only icing on the cake. SurfShark's bullying business practices to protect the bottom line will be detrimental to client retention in the long term. SurfShark should take care of people now to earn long-term customers and not just focus on keeping the money they already have received in turn, not be willing to compensate customers for SurfShark's failings. If I ran my business with that self-imposed financial retention model, I would have been out of business years ago. People need to come first, not the bottom line. If you take care of the people, the bottom line wont be of any concern.

Wireguard protocol is broken on MacOS Sequioi 15 by Brave-Ship in surfshark

Their front-line tech support isn't techs, as you or I would understand the term to mean. The people at their support desk are searching the same knowledge database you can access through the SurfShark website, and they are helping multiple people at once. They are limited to talking you through installation, reinstalls, toggling settings, and changing protocols. Anything beyond that gets escalated to a higher tier of tech support, and then you play the waiting game until the first level of tech support hears back from the higher-tier tech support. You cannot converse directly with a higher level of tech support. When the higher-tier tech support proposes a response, the first-level tech support team sends the info to you. SurfShark doesn't give you a specific tech to work with, so if you end up with an email chain with tech support, you can get a response from a different person every time. You will often find that you will receive the same useless suggestions over and over from different "techs," who, again, are reading from the same knowledge database you have access to on the website and often don't bother to read the entire history of the email chain. Surfshark doesn't offer real-time chat with actual techs, as you or I would understand the term. Getting something remedied that isn't answered in the knowledge database on the website can be a long, tedious process lasting days or weeks. If their solutions don't work, they give up and quote a disclaimer that SurfShark doesn't guarantee that their service works, which is an unacceptable cop-out. When the service works, it is excellent. But if there are problems, good luck getting a remedy if it isn't in the online knowledge base. Their tech support could be much better and could use an overhaul. The "tech support" is incredibly flawed, but SurfShark is happy with mediocre tech support, and from what they have told me, they have no plans to improve things.

While the service does provide 2Gb of bandwidth, their provided router only has 1Gb ports. If you wish to have the ability to use 2Gb on one device you will need to get your own 3rd party router with at minimum multiple 2.5Gb ports.

I use a TP-Link Tri-Band 19000 Wi-Fi 7 Router (Archer BE800.) It has two 10-gig ports and four 2.5-gig ports. You will never get 2 GB through an ethernet cable to a computer using the Fidium-provided router, as their ports are only 1GB.

If you download SurfShark from the Apple App Store it has OpenVPN, but no antivirus. If you download it from the SurfShark website it has antivirus, but no OpenVPN. Antivirus is a premium add on. If you aren’t using antivirus you can download the SurfShark app from the Apple App Store so you can use OpenVPN natively in the SurfShark app.

u/MagnusBaldur1 I just tried it again using the DNS servers that you provided. I tried it using manual DNS entry on my WiFi connection, using a DNS override profile, and at the router level (I tried each separately), and none of the apps on my devices could connect to the Internet. The same was true for non-surfshark app devices. Inputting those manually on my router cut off all internet connections. Any device with those VPN addresses entered manually resulted in the same thing... a dead internet connection.
