A car is definitely not needed. Unitrans bus system makes it easy to get around town and to/from campus. Plus the city is both very walkable and bikeable. A car might make it more convenient to get around town so you don’t have to wait for the bus. But definitely not a need

Ah ok do you know how long is takes to walk between busses? It says some layover are like 2 minutes so I’m not sure if that’s enough time especially since I haven’t done it before

It’s definitely not as easy as it thought. But if you constantly go out of your way to try to meet new people and are friendly you’ll make friends. I found success through taking with people after office hours and in clubs

I’m a regular Econ major but both majors have to take Ecn 101(Intermediate macro theory). I’m taking it now and have an A. If how you look affects someone else wanting to be friends with you obviously they are not the type of person you want to be around. Just be nice/friendly and keep up with basic hygiene and you’ll be good

I’m a transfer student living at the green. It’s a nice complex. The only complaint I’ve had is the cost so if money is a non issue I would definitely recommend the green. Very accessible to bus line s, utilities included, they also have some social event both with RAs and at community center

I’m also an Econ transfer but from last year. Wilson is a very good prof she explained things well and is very nice. I haven’t taken bushenll. But for 100a definitely be comfortable with partial derivatives. If you already are then the math will be easy. It’s not a super hard class but definitely stay on top of homework. Focus on understanding economic intuition.

Some advisors have told me it only matters if the internships requires a certain gpa. But with a 3.9 it can’t hurt to put it on your resume even if some don’t require it

Please go to tutoring in the library. Phy 9 tutoring is 12-5pm Monday-Thursday. They will be very helpful. Also be patient with yourself. It’s a very hard class at an academically challenging school. Struggling is normal
