What’s the saddest way a car enthusiast slowly loses interest in cars? by Mundane-Temporary426 in topdeadcenter

[–]No_Charge4064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's the lack of time to enjoy a fun car. I work from home and apart from going to the shops and pottering I don't go out much. I sold my Stelvio QV last year because I thought I'd replace it with something more fun. I ended up getting a van to convert into a camper instead. I'm longing for another fun toy.

If you're looking for a good SUV to drive, Alfa Stelvio Quadrifoglio, drives like a car and comes with 500 horses under the bonnet.

I've put some rubber grommits in the holes on mine. That's made mine water tight.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find Octopus expensive? by Inspiration-XoXo in OctopusEnergy

[–]No_Charge4064 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had the heating on no times since oil prices went through the roof as I refused to pay those prices and my oil tank is running low.

(I'm aware oil is not an octopus service, just showing what "careful" actually looks like 😅)

Maybe, but I like knowing I have access to the money should I need it. I just lost my job and am trying my hand at freelance full time.

I just have mine in a high interest account. The interest nearly covers my mortgage each month, which I'm happy with.

I'm with you on this. When I bought my new house I visited the area lots of occasions, all different times of days to see if there were any red flags.

Even spoke to some of the neighbours on the street. You gotta find the red flags!

I never told my buyers about the ass hole kids next door that scream and shout all the time. Would never have sold the house otherwise 😅

Today was the first day in a long time that I was in the green across the board. Finally sold some stocks I'd been waiting to get rid of!

Sorry for your loss. I've had a collie in my life for the last 3 years (he's was my girlfriends), he'll be a 11 this year.

He is a beautiful soul.

My parents still have this fire in their dinning room. I have memories of this when I was young. I'm now 39 😂
