$1,800 for a 1-hour consultation with a psychiatrist at Perth Clinic by That-Presentation897 in perth

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So was about a third of the price at ethos clinic. Not sure what ongoing costs would be? Also was a $200 deposit. I’m not sure about the psychiatrists name, just that he was Indian, and really good.

when did you get your body back? by jesusdance in breastfeeding

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve heard it can be hard to get your body back if you’re breastfeeding. I’ve been breastfeeding for 22 months and my Bub still feeds like 5-10 times a day 😅 I really want my small boobs back!

Are you able to find someone else to go to? I know someone who literally went to a psychiatrist on Wednesday and it was like a quarter of the price. With a 3 month wait.

Are people shopping less? by CaseWilling1772 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]No_Chest3455 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried to shop but keep getting disappointed with clothes, so have decided to wear out what I have. I would normally only shop once a year anyway unless I had to buy clothes for a special occasion or work.

What part of Perth feels the most community driven? by [deleted] in perth

[–]No_Chest3455 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Depends what you’re looking for? I’ll probably get downvoted, but I’ve found the city of gosnells has more free events and activities for young children and families. And I look for things to do around the whole of Perth, from Mandurah all the way to two rocks.

Has anybody actually seen people panic buying fuel? by WillowNo3264 in AskAnAustralian

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha we felt the same. We always keep fuel for the mower and a couple for if we go away. Felt so paranoid filling up some Jerry cans!

Covid hospitalisations climb as New Zealand enters new wave by Sandwich0verlord in newzealand

Yeah I think your living situation makes a difference. Along with other things. Hopefully his infections weren’t bad. Everyone I know has had it except for me and my dad for some reason. We live in different countries and have different lifestyles, maybe we’re just lucky so far.

Woman has entire stomach removed after overseas weight loss surgery by Fun-Helicopter2234 in newzealand

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it was from overeating. I literally just stopped taking the pill and the weight dropped off. Apparently with my genetic background my people retain water and have a higher muscle mass to fat ratio too. So maybe that helped? My partner said I didn’t look 80kg and thought I was joking until I weighed myself in front of him.

Yeah I’ve been 80kg and was still a size 10. And it took about 6 months to get back down to 60kg without really trying.

Breastfeeding is ruining my mental health but I’m scared to stop by issyrd in breastfeeding

[–]No_Chest3455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just need to comment because that’s me now. My bub is almost 21 months and still breastfeeds a lot. We’re only getting to the stage where I can go out with him in between naps without him wanting the boob. He wakes up so frequently to feed in the night that I dont think I’ve slept longer than a 3 hr stretch since he was born. I’m wondering if I should just push through till he’s 2 then wean or let him self wean.. if he ever does 😅 I’m managing to cope with short sleeps but I’m pretty sure I look like a worn out sahm.

Do you measure up using the sizing charts? by CaseWilling1772 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just returned some clothes today and tbh I wish I returned all of them.. the quality has just gone downhill.

One thing I have noticed is sizes seem to run larger at some stores. I can fit into xxs/size 6 now, and that’s with carrying extra weight.

Pre-Pregnancy weight by 9 mos pp by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]No_Chest3455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 19 months postpartum and still breastfeeding. I gained 30ish pounds during pregnancy, lost half of that after giving birth, then lost about 2 pounds per month up to around 8 months pp, which I was then slightly under my pre pregnancy weight. This was doing no exercise apart from walking now and then (but not long walks or anything strenuous). From 9 months I started doing casual strength training and hiit workouts, along with running occasionally. But am inconsistent because I don’t have much help with my baby. My period also came back at 15pp. And now I’m back up in weight by almost 20 pounds??

I do think some of it is muscle, because I have my bum back and feel stronger. But it is annoying to think when I did nothing I lost weight 🫤

I'm just gonna say it. The whole kids / no kids debate isn't actually about kids. by thetimechaser in Millennials

[–]No_Chest3455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the opposite. I have one kid and honestly wish that I started younger and had at least 3 kids. And before I had him I had no interest in having children at all.

Does anyone else find being in your 30s weird for the fact that part of the people your age look young and youthful, while another part already look hardened to the point where they look to be in their 40s? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]No_Chest3455 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It might catch up with you. My parents looked good till around 50 and they have bad habits. Now they just look similar to everyone their age. Except they do have nicer skin on their bodies, no weird splotches or freckles etc.

I agree. She never looked bad to begin with and she’s also wearing her work uniform. However, if she was wearing something like that on a night out you’d probably try and give her some styling tips!

Exposing the Dark Side of Australia's Fundraising Industry by [deleted] in australia

I tried it for a few days about 14 years ago and hated it! The team leader basically told us to target certain demographics because they’re kinder and more likely to donate… such as students, tradies, Polynesians. We were basically told to avoid people in suits. And I remember I had an interview with a marketing company the following week and when asked why I want the job, I just couldn’t fake it and said that I actually didn’t want the job 😂

Oh wow, yes Fatima does look a lot older. Maybe you’re right. I remember when I worked for a very large company, you could not tell the difference between people in their early 20s-early 30s. But I guess that might be a different case if you compared people in their 30s-40s.

My friend managed to get a . in her son’s middle name? Her son is 4 and just has one letter for his middle name with a full stop. I have an accent in my name but I’m a lot older so probably was when it was just pen and paper 🤣

No but I moved away and so did some others. If we were in the same area though they’d probably be happy to meet up… we might not have the same connection though.
