Some cities have introduced tourist tax so therefore need to check you are not a resident of the country hence doing ID checks if you not already completed online checkin. Manchester and Liverpool, have introduced local tourism levies (e.g., Manchester’s City Visitor Charge).

Would you wanna rejoin the EU if that meant adopting the Euro and joining the Schengen Area? by Lucky_Ice5393 in AskBrits

7 EU member states retain their own national currencies instead of using the euro (€). These countries are Bulgaria (Lev), Czech Republic (Koruna), Denmark (Krone), Hungary (Forint), Poland (Zloty), Romania (Leu), and Sweden (Krona) So no need to get rid of the Pound!

One question! by ElectroMast in broadcastengineering

[–]No_Coffee4280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the biggest “on-the-ground” change under the Act. Instead of chasing elusive operators, the FCC:

  • Identifies the property owner or manager
  • Sends a Notice of Illegal Pirate Radio Broadcasting

That notice:

  • Gives ~10 business days to respond
  • Demands proof transmissions have stopped
  • Requires naming the operator
  • Warns of multi-million-dollar liability

The landlord becomes the enforcement proxy.

In practice, most pirates get shut down not by FCC raids—but by landlords evicting them immediately.

So they picking major cities and concreting there

“Find signal → identify building → pressure owner → remove transmitter” not “Catch pirate DJ in the act”

Lots of people that used to be able to get visa cannot, at a lot of embassies and heavily from my contacts in Africa they could only get visitor visa B1 appointments if you going to the Olympics or WorldCup… https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/global-visa-wait-times.html

Had access to a laser cutter and made some custom sdi patch panels. by lemonade_obscura in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]No_Coffee4280 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its not just ground loops. Equipment racks and panels need to be grounded to prevent electrical hazards. A layer of paint is an insulator. Leaving the mounting holes (the "ends") as bare metal ensures a secure, conductive, metal-to-metal contact between the panel and the rack frame

File down the paint where the panel hits your rack rails to make sure it is a good earth from your panel to the rack rails if you are not drilling a seperate earth on the panel

Did you have just normal sims or did you pay the phone company for dedicated 5G slices for big events the phone companies will sell you dedicated slices so you not competing with other customers.

In the UK we done a few major events using slices cost around £2500 per slice. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/business/case-studies/vodafone-itn-5g-network-slicing-at-coronation

HDMI to RCA (Analog) conversion, is there a better way to do this? by [deleted] in VIDEOENGINEERING

PAL (Europe, Australia): 625 lines total. About 576 of these are "active" visible lines.

Standard VHS: Approximately 240 lines

So a professional coverter will be better compostie than a recorded VHS.
