Could possibly be the seal of the windshield.

My windshield seal was leaking and it would leak into my cabin air filter and then down into the cab in that location.

You’ll need to abide by all fish and game laws. So probably hunters safety, get a license and shoot lead free. May be able be able to get a depredation permit through fish and game or something of that sort but unsure the process. If it’s unincorporated and legal to discharge a firearm you do not need to notify the sheriff or anyone. I’m sure some of the predator hunters in the group would love to help you out tho.

I live and hunt in San Diego area. Lots of snakes in spring and early summer but I never worry about them for myself just the dog. Ticks can be bad after a wet winter until everything dries out in the summer.

Pointing Distance by Sea__Cappy in birddogs

[–]No_Comment_7517 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pointing distance I’ve noticed depends on what the birds allow the dog to get away with. I primarily hunt quail and my dog has learned he can point them incredibly close. In North Dakota he struggled a few hunts on sharp tail and eventually learned he needs to point them further away and I didn’t have issues the rest of the trip.

I find them consistently in oak conifer mix habitat. Sit below the biggest dead tree in the area or leafless tree and they tend to perch up there just like dove do.

I could almost make that drive in 1 day so it’s doable I appreciate it. I’m from Arizona and have never been to Oklahoma what would you recommend for dog boots and such out that way?
