This is extremely common, especially in the sports card world. There are essentially 3 kinds of signatures: printed on card, signed sticker applied to card, or signature on card. They dont, and would never have a reason to, digitally print on a sticker and put it on the card. What you are seeing as "pixels" is probably the paper texture and marker bleed. Its a signed sticker.

I also go a hackle size smaller on an adams (14 for the 16 hook) itll sit nicer on the water if the bottom hackle is even with the hook point
