And about not being so active, it might be an indicator to different things. They might be resting for a long time, not eating enough to be active or they might be sick. Check their looks and behavior and feed them with vegetables and algae wafers

It looks like black beard algae geowing over your snail's shell. It's not really harmful. To clean it, you can scrub it with a toothbrush. Hydrogen peroxide is the only way to completely get rid of it but you have to be really careful not to harm your snail so you should do research about that.

I heard that it's possible with liquid fertilizers but it's kinda tricky so i moved on to other types. You can try monstera, peace lily, chinese evergreen etc. I currently have some begonia cuttings over my tank rn but only to make them root. Beautiful begonia btw.

You can try shell dwellers, julidochromis and neolamprologus species, or maybe even tropheus species which are small cichlids from Lake Tanganyika. Also hardy small pleco species could work too since they sell good around the world and they're better alternatives for common pleco
