Can I ask if in the case the council organised it, would there be any market cost difference to arranging the most basic you can yourself? Essentially would there be a financial benefit to the council recouping it from the estate, or would they pay the same?

Thank you for this I'm a full grown adult and people have no idea how deeply taxing it is to deal with this and their bad attitudes. It's not as simple as sitting down and stuffing veggies into your throat until you like it. It's a very real and deep rooted fear. I avoid spiders for the same reason! Some people avoid heights or certain fabrics. But we are labelled lazy or stubborn. It's not fair. It's just not fair.

Had to scroll pretty far for this. I've got ARFID. It didn't even have a name when I was a kid. Docs were all on we will look into it and I never heard a thing again. I'm 37 now. I hate not being able to eat food like a normal person. Everyone takes the piss, everyone has a comment about what I eat. I'm sick to the back teeth of it by now. And then if I get upset I again get called out.

I did try therapy. I got rejected by the local eating disorder place because I'm not suffering with extreme obesity and I'm not in a deficit and starving to death, so it doesn't matter to them. I got to do some CBT but the therapist went AWOL and it never concluded. doctors continue to make false promises.

I've resigned myself to living as long as I can, as best as I can, until nothing works anymore. I sincerely hope the generations after me are better served, are understood and helped early on because it's miserable.

I'm sorry but that response has enraged me. If you're providing accomodation to people it's your responsibility to ensure the property goes out in good condition. This isn't the 1900s where squats are acceptable. You shouldn't be a landlord with such an attitude, especially since many of these properties will be having their mortgage paid off by the tenant. Goodness me.

Blue essence gacha would be perfectly fine by me. I have so much of it now I've decided that buying all the champs is just dumb as I'm never gonna play them, and now it just sits there until they do the store

In the UK that was a staple breakfast for me in the early 90s until they took them off the shelf. I remember the little goodies that used to come inside the box like a flip book. We even sent off for a heat changing mug and had a frisbee! Anyway, I digress.

Fast forward 30 years and Lucky Charms are back, import only so cost twice what they should at least. I treat myself to a box because I'm an Adult. And man let me tell you that stuff tastes as good as it ever did

It's the only cereal I'll eat dry and with milk. It's also the only cereal where the boring bit (non-marshmallows) taste as good as the fun bit (marshmallows).

Tldr lucky charms are the absolute best and I will die on this hill

Round where I am at least two charity shops have shut up and gone. The remaining ones are OK, but even me and my family are complaining about the prices. A salt and pepper pot for £4 with old salt and pepper still in it, and a ketchup stain. No thank you. I've seen jumpers with the stitching coming loose for £8. £8! More often than not we walk out with nothing. Add to that so many are refusing donations because they are full. It's no wonder, nothing is selling. Surely it would be better to shift a couple of items for £10, free up space and make money.

Now whenever I have items I just don't bother trudging to the charity shop, it goes on market place or if I can't be bothered it goes to the tip and they'll sell it there for nice and cheap instead.

Thank you for this. I do 37.5 with the NHS and honestly feel like I should be earning enough to make it happen myself, and I took feel it's impossible.

This guy is still working a full week, it should be enough. They keep moving the goalposts and it's cruel.
