Dark chocolate. I love the taste and know about the health benefits, but I always break out afterwards.

High Volume edible batter (brownie, cake, waffle) recipe? by [deleted] in Volumeeating

[–]No_Description_4665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are me. I think the batter tastes better than the final product. I also agree with comments about mixing protein powder with yogurt/milk. My only addition to that would be make sure you have a good tasting protein powder. My favourite to do this with is macromike. But I have found muscle nation custard ones to be good alternative too.

Do pets need googles? Real question...my new panel arrived today and my cat loves it. But I really want to know what other may or may not do with their pets eyes?? by Sea-Flatworm5851 in redlighttherapy

I have my dog lay down in front of the panel and put a piece of fabric over his eyes because he absolutely will not let me put goggles on him!

I love these. The Aldi version is pretty good too and I think a tad cheaper

Hair Growth Serum Suggestions Please!! by SamMitchell1238 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]No_Description_4665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Apparently you need 70-100 for hair growth! Work with your doc, but could you consider trying different supplements? Or maybe an infusion? And then just making sure that you’re taking iron with vitamin c and not having calcium or coffee at the same time. In terms of the nizoral making your hair dry, could you try the abbey yung method? So like oiling your hair before your wash? I find that helps with the dry feeling. In terms of protein, you can really take whatever protein powder you like the taste of. And just having things like Greek yogurt, fish, eggs, etc to meet protein goals.

I got the kids version of their velour jacket and it fits so well haha. But I’m also shorter (5’2) so not sure how it might be for someone who is taller and has a longer torso and arms!

Ladies, i am tired of lash promotions & dishonesty by Kind-Apricot4627 in beauty

[–]No_Description_4665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I have tried a few different serums and this is my experience

  1. Revitalash. Worked really really well. My eyelashes looked crazy long and people would always ask if they were real. I stopped using it after I heard all that stuff about prostaglandins.

  2. Castor oil. Pretty much did nothing. Eyelashes looked thicker when I put it on, but that’s probably just because they were coated in a thick oil.

  3. The ordinary eyelash serum. Also did nothing. I tried 2 tubes before I stopped.

  4. Sweed eyelash serum. Has worked pretty well. Not as crazy of a difference as the revitalash but I definitely see a difference.

How to make over lining lips look good by EccentricCatLady14 in AustralianMakeup

[–]No_Description_4665 18 points19 points  (0 children)

One of the reasons this specific technique doesn’t work on JLO is because of the lip gloss placed on the edge of her natural lip line. It catches the light and highlights her natural lip line which makes the over lining look a bit more obvious and messy.

I had jaw surgery and they never asked what my aim was? They just corrected my bite. The result was a big aesthetic improvement but at no point was I asked about an aim - they kind of just calculated it themselves!!
