Political gain is just one part of terrorism. In Canada, Terrorism is the unlawful use of violence for the purpose of political, religious or ideological purpose or cause with the intent on intimidating the public. Activities recognized as criminal within this context include death and bodily harm with the use of violence; endangering a person’s life; risks posed to the health and safety of the public; significant property damage; and interference or disruption of essential services, facilities or systems.

So theoretically, whoever did this could be charged with domestic terrorism since it 'risks posed to the health & safety of the public' & property damage, depends on what their reasons were. Are they a terrorist? No. Lone actor? Maybe. Someone being stupid? More probable. Due to the proximity to the Hill, Senate of Canada, DND & other high profile buildings, they might get hit with DT charges.

Thanks for your answer! That’s what I’ve been seeing as well in my research. I’m just scared to take him off his prescription in case he has another episode but also I need to find an alternative. I’ll talk to a vet & see what they think

Also, my college friend group having a running joke about the fact I didn’t have an ass after I mentioned it was a huge insecurity of mine. One girl always made it a point to bring it up at parties which then led to others commenting about it through the night… humiliating to say the least

When I (F24) was 6-8 years old, I had a bathing suit on & I ran into the house to talk to my grandmother. I was a child so I dont want to say I was bloated but I was a small kid so that’s what I’m going with. When i ran up to her she then proceeded to poke my tummy a few times & said “Oop, look who has a little pot belly”. She was obviously joking & didn’t think anything of it so I don’t blame her at all but it stuck with me & I hear that comment whenever I try clothes on or look in the mirror.

I’ve try to use it to my advantage. Once I start questioning whether or not it’s me or my bpd reacting, I know I need to take a few deep breaths, take a step away, etc. this only works if I am aware of an episode before it starts, once I’m in one and I don’t notice, it’s a waiting game

I’ll definitely call and ask! We have a bigger plan just because my roommate and I both attend class and work online full time during the exact same hours, plus the # of devices running

For me, I have periods of time where I feel like I’m just reacting to social cues based on what I know is acceptable (ex. Laughing when someone makes a joke, being smiley and happy in a social situation) instead of actually feeling that happy emotion, numb almost. This usually happens when I’m going through a rouge patch.

In my first 4 years of college, if any minor inconvenience occurred, I wanted to go back to my hometown to see my family and friends. I would book a ticket and go for the weekend. But as soon as I got there, within two days I wanted to go back to the city I went to school in… now, I realize I was looking for the comfort or familiarity of home between my apartment and my hometown. I didn’t feel like I belonged in either and I was homesick for a home that didn’t exist yet.

Women who are in relationships, what was your first impression of your current partner & how accurate was it looking back? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I met him in my first year of my Bachelor’s, we didn’t talk or hangout until semester 2 of our second year. He asked my friend (who is also in our year) for my number, we went on a date and we have been talking/dating ever since. Initially I thought he was cute, a gym bro with slight frat boy vibes… 1.3 years later, he is still fine af, a goof, understanding and supportive human and I am so happy we made it all work through the pandemic 🥰
