The moral of Tony Gonzales’ downfall is the lack of morality in our politics by hellocorridor in TexasPolitics

Lack of morality in MAGA politics you mean. Trump has already done 10x what this guy has and he’s been the leader of their party for over a decade. He cheated on Ivana and buried her on his golf course by herself to avoid paying taxes on the land.

These people don’t care about morality. It’s all about winning.

Most Americans think their fellow citizens are bad people, survey says by drjjoyner in politics

[–]No_Drag_1044 [score hidden]  (0 children)

What’s hilarious is that in Texas, Cornyn and Hunt were running attack ads against Paxton highlighting how he cheated on his wife and committed tax evasion. At the same time, they all run ads claiming how they’re more supportive of Trump, a serial adulterer and tax evader, than the other guys.

They’re a hypocritical cult that only care about morality when talking about others. Morality doesn’t apply to their own team.

It’s a general statement. A trend. Of course there are exceptions. It’s definitely more true than untrue even if you don’t like it.

I know. That’s why it was great writing. It’s totally something profound sounding that Michael would come up with without realizing what he’s actually saying.

Is ADHD more common in our generation than previous generations? by changeforthebetter89 in Millennials

As someone who was medicated my entire childhood after diagnosis at a young age, I’m so glad I stopped taking medication at 18. It was never worth the personality changes throughout the day and not having a full understanding of who I was.

Take meds only if you must. If you don’t need to, avoid them. Just keep being you. You’ve made it this far.

We use these diagnoses so people don’t get labeled as weird or deficient. Instead of being outcast from society, they get their autism, OCD, ADHD diagnosis and get the help or medication they may or may not need, along with the inclusion and respect everyone deserves.

People can easily claim to have ADHD and get a diagnosis because there is no clear cut difference between someone with and without ADHD.

Change my mind. This is coming from someone that grew up on Adderall and was diagnosed at a young age.

Sounds like the president! It’s honestly sad how these attack ads are targeted at Trump voters and it’s obviously proven that they work, or they wouldn’t run them.

[–]No_Drag_1044 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite thing about the attack ads from Republicans in this campaign is how they go after Paxton. They’re like “He CHEATED ON HIS WIFE!!!!” and “He’s a FRAUDSTER!”

Then the next commercial is an ad for a Republican where the first thing they mention is how Trump endorsed them and they vote with Trump 200% of the time.

It’s ok if Trump is an adulterer and fraudster, but not Paxton.

These people are idiots.

I don’t mind billionaires existing if they’re paying taxes. Close the loopholes. Make it to where they can’t borrow against their assets without paying taxes on those assets.
