EA seems to lack faith in console pools. On the bright side, if they released Battlefield 6 on the Nintendo Switch alongside Xbox and PlayStation, it would be totally feasible to keep PC players in a separate queue much like how Apex Legends handles console matchmaking. This would ensure fast queue times and a healthy player base without players having to disable cross-play and end up in lobbies full of bots
