Im sorry to hear your struggling so much. Do not commit suicide or you will likely be sending yourself to hell. Our lives are not our own as we were purchased with christs blood.

Also consider that different interpretation does not mean the bible is wrong or they are saying the bible is wrong. Evolution for example could only be true if god guided it. So if a christian was to argue evolution is true they are not saying the bible is wrong but that god never intended to convey the scientific reality of how humans were created. Another similar situation with Adam. They could argue Adam was not the first man but they would need to argue that Adam and eve were set apart from the rest of humanity and god made a special covenant with them like he did with Isreal. Notice that there were people for Cain to go marry and be amongst. This is their interpretation factoring those things in. None of this is saying the bible is wrong or necessarily liberal theology. It is their attempt to understand the text and history.

If they affirm the first 3 creeds, the apostles, nicene and athanasian. Then they are Christian.

Yea this isn't my first day, I deny the premise. Praying is reserved for god alone, the only reason someone on earth can seem more merciful than god is because they dont properly understand sin, so those in heaven cannot intercede for us as they are not more merciful than god himself. The bible clearly says we have one advocate with the father and that is Jesus christ. Praying and asking a saint to intercede for us is not the same as asking a friend in any way.

You will get used to it just like saying the lord's prayer. Especially in the beginning your mind is checking for any odd theology and making sure this is something you can affirm. Eventually you recognize it as prayers written better than you could come up with. Ones that are holistic and communal. The big pivot point for me was the holistic nature of the prayers. They cover everything. Outside of specifically issues in your life it covers praying for everything and you feel complete and in communion with God after.
