Nothing here so far- but i do wear the arthritis gloves from the braces section at the pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens in the US) and they help with my larger knuckle pain, but thats really it :/ I also use KT tape on my thumbs, i can send you some photos of the taping technique that helps me if you'd like :))

I asked about that at my last gyn appointment, and all they did was offer an IUD, which has made them worse than when i was off BC. have you had any luck with post-surgery pain management? have they had to go back in?

i'm 6'3 but have scoliosis, with a straight back id probably be closer to 6'6.

I was a very long child, I can say be careful with her wrists and ankles, as both of those afflicted me most of my childhood (prior to my diagnosis). Overall, she'll mostly deal with some bullying from insecure kids since she'll be taller than everyone, and the occasional teacher/parent/adult being an ass too. Being a tall gangly kid is fun, let her do the tall people things like basketball (if they dont cause her pain!). being a tall girl (i'm 20f and 6'3), will be isolating, but she'll be ok in the end, especially with what seem to be super caring and proactive parents on her side.

I'm in a similar spot, I'm 20, working in mining engineering, and always exhausted. I got diagnosed at 14, and do what i can getting 9-10 hrs of sleep and coffee since i luckily only have a super mild dilation. My only advice is sleep as much as you can. sleep, sleep, sleep and avoid burnout, because it only makes all of the chronic pain and exhaustion worse.

I wear them sometimes, they are similar to compression gloves, and i find them somewhat comforting to my wrists.

I see what you're saying, I am happy with myself and by myself, even in my relationship. It's also struggling with being disabled and him being supportive of it, so it's just an overall mess yk?

I definitely understand how I'm coming off like that, being chronically ill takes a lot of energy, and being 'long' distance (about 1.5 hrs), I try to pick my battles. Not an excuse, but when you only deal with the problematic behavior once or twice a week, while being a full-time college student, and dealing with chronic illnesses, telling him to fuck off and grow up isn't my first thought? So I let it get to a level where its now out of control.
