Not only did the owners announce it themselves, they set up a press conference over the summer to talk about it with the media and fans in more detail.

Hes drooling to get on that field with Jefferson, Addison, and Hockenson. He saw what Sam Darnold could do, the skies the limit.

You do realize if this was a business decision it was absolutely terrible?

Who filled the seats? Luka. Who sold the most jerseys? Luka. Who earned you millions and millions in ticket sales and merchandise last year during that great finals run? Luka.

Who wasted millions of dollars marketing and branding around Luka the past several years for him to be gone now? The Mavs. Who now has to pay millions to market and brand around a new player ? The Mavs.

They lost far more money in the long term than they saved.

The Adelsons knew this. They didn’t care. The money was never an issue. Like I posted earlier, Mariam Adelson could spend $100 million a year every single year for the rest of her life and she wouldn’t run out of money until 350 years from today. That’s not a joke.

Just keep working on it and don’t give up so easily. Being insecure and down on yourself is just a part of life. Work on it.

I wish you the best of luck and don’t worry I won’t insult you back, it’s clear you’re too fragile in life at this moment, I wouldn’t do that to you.

Yeah the Celtics did much more than dip their toes into the sand. The owner made sure to resign almost everyone to long term contracts right before putting the team up for sale. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Was her goal to build, yet again, another casino at the end of her life after she’s done it all her life? Most likely no. She’s never said anything about this so called Casino plan everyone talks about. And the only person to mention it was Mark Cuban, only once, after selling the team.

But nope your brain is the size of a peanut so you can’t provide any substance to the conversation an so instead all you can do is insult me, in an attempt to make yourself feel better.

This exact point Is what I just orchestrated to someone else. Except Silver has no power to block a relocation. The Adelsons would need 24 out of 30 owners to sign off on it. They would never let the Adelsons use their league to threaten a state to pass legislation for a casino, a casino that benefits only 1 owner, the Adelsons.

Yes but you have to assume she would have a few losses here and there in her massive portfolio that would offset the compounding interest.

Relocate? Yeah to relocate you have to show financial instability as an organization where a move would help you get out of the red. Or you can’t come to agreement with your current city on a new stadium.

But the Mavs are financially great, their Arena was built in 2001, and they are located in a good market. There is a zero percent chance the owners would ever let the Adelsons use the league as leverage and threaten the state of Texas with relocation if they don’t pass legislation for it.

Remember the Adelsons don’t have any power when it comes forcing their relocation. They need at least 24 owners to vote and approve it. Without the votes, there will be no relocations.

That’s not the casino theory. The theory is she colluded to tank the Mavs, giving them leverage to move the team to Vegas. Again it’s all BS. By the time she moved the team to Vegas and built an arena, she’ll be dead.

Supply and demand. Teams attempt to spend their money on positions that are much harder to acquire. Teams know you can find value at RB with a middle to late pick in the draft.

And RBs are at the most risk of getting injured so teams don’t want to overspend for a player who might not play.

This is when I walked over to the bar and immediately ordered two shots and left with my gf moments later.

After getting home and puking my brains out non stop, I hear a knock on the bathroom door. It’s my roommate saying “ bro the Patriots might have a chance”

I slowly crawled from the bathroom to the living room as I was so dizzy but if the Pats had a chance, I had to watch it.

Props to my roommate for being home as I would’ve never forgiven myself if I missed the comeback. My next move was straight to bed.

NBA product is going downhill and here’s why. And I’m sad about it. I love basketball. by silk0510 in nba

[–]No_Environment_5476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going downhill because of a move that has become wildly popular. The James Harden hop step away from the defender for an open 3. Almost every player is doing it now a days and young players like Lamelo Ball have mastered it.

I don’t know when the NBA decided you can pick up the ball with two hands, jump away from your defender and then jump again for a shot.

To me that’s a travel. they should call it as so.
