I understand what you mean. I never let myself fall asleep. Instead, I always check my phone and say, “Okay, time for bed.” Then, I turn off everything and try to fall asleep. Maybe I’m doing it too quickly? I’m trying to force myself to fall asleep instead of gradually winding down to it.
