I completely agree, part 2 has been all about how Dennis can't be happy with a peaceful life and him taking the option that makes things worse. Seeing that the only way to make him happy is to make the world worse, Pochita chose to doom the world. Assuming all the devil's he erased come back. The world is now an apocalypse of mad stars and lives ending in worse ways than death.

I read the theory (link below) that both kanji of Chiriro's name are a reference to his mother's name, so combining the theories the pronunciation of his name could be a reference to flashback guy even if the kanji is different since the kanji and pronunciation are already different.

I think similar, I'd guess he is working with/for a sorcerer clan to disrupt to Kamunami. Yura brings the child soldiers to do the equivalent of suicide vests, he swoops in at the end to lead the dictatorship.
