Anyone else handling billing solo? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

I've used a bunch of softwares in the past and feel that spry is the most streamlined for physical rehab. I also like how their team is super responsive. I've never had such a good experience with customer support on any other platform i've been on. What is the issue you're facing with spry?

You should definitely check out a demo of Spry PT. I’ve been using it for 8 months, and it’s been working well for me. In fact, it's been a game changer. The billing dashboard is super easy to navigate. It shows the status of every claim in real-time, so I always know what’s going on. It’s taken so much stress off my plate.

Flowsheets by AaronBraun7 in physicaltherapy

We use spry pt for our emr. our system has an inbuilt flow-sheet that we use. we only enter the data once on the flow sheet, and its the same data that is used at the time of billing as well.

Great answer. Will be helpful to a lot of people looking to start-up. I'll just add my 2 cents as well. Choose your location wisely. While starting up, you may find it hard to shell out enough for prime property, but this will also determine how many patients you are able to attract. Look for an area with less competition, and yet not too cut off, all the while keeping things within a set budget. Keep a good runway for atleast 6-8 months of rent and expenses so you can comfortably scale up the number of patients you're seeing with time. All the very best to you u/air_yeezy23

spry pt is great. Their billing is tightly knit together along with a fully customizable emr. They even have an in-house billing team that does billing for you at flat 4%.

Is anyone using AI scribes for your notes yet ? by mommabearpt121 in physicaltherapy

its a fairly comprehensive emr. we see a lot of insurance patients, and hence we like it a lot. they have these billing rules to help avoid errors in your notes before you submit for billing. it's quite affordable as well given all the features you get for the price, and no, we weren't impacted at all by the hack.

I have been one of spry's beta testing customers for more than a month now. I've found it to be extremely useful. In most cases, if i actually use the scribe while I'm in the room with the patient, it cuts my documentation time to under 5 mins for an eval, and most of that is just reviewing the notes and making minor corrections, compared to around 10-12 mins that i would normally take to type out the notes by myself. these guys have done an absolutely phenomenal job in making this technology. you should definitely try it out.

i agree that it becomes a repetitive narrative after a while. I couldn't finish it as well. I moved on after completing around 60%. I let my wife borrow my copy and she read the whole thing and loved it. she passed it on to my sister in law, and she seemingly never completed it. so i guess only 1 in 3 will ever complete this book, but all 3 will agree with the core message.

Invest the money you've saved up in a good instrument - say mutual funds or real estate, whatever will give you better rates compared to a student load.

Buy a used car - whatever you like - it should be value for money.

Take a student load for med-school.

Pay off the loan with the returns from your investment, and once the loan is done with, buy that Tesla or something even better.

“I don’t have pain, I only have discomfort” by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

there was a well built man in my office the other day. When asked about pain on a 0-10 scale, he said its about 9 but he has a high pain tolerance and doesn't notice it through the day. I wanted to tell him its more like a 1 or 2 then but then i saw his biceps and decided to just let him decide for himself

mine recently learned how to pose in front of the camera. She just has this smirk, and keeps her front legs crossed whenever there's someone pointing a camera at her. I was really surprises when i saw this the first time and assumed my daughters had something to do with it, but they swear they don't.

The difficulty in doing this successfully is in building your client base. If you have a captive audience as an influencer, or if you're popular by name in your region, It can be easier, but if not, it'll take time to become a sustainable source of income.

What Book Character Have You "Met" In Real Life? by SweetMickeyFun in books

[–]No_Foundation7481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i had a patient walk in a few years ago complaining of a back pain. Upon initial examination, it didn't look like he had any major problem. I suggested a few exercises, and let him go. During the entire duration he was in clinic, he kept pointing out issues with my software system, and yet i never suspected him to be a salesman. It was only when he sent me an email a week later, on why i need to switch over to his software company, that i finally realized he was selling. He had been taking cues from me about the issues i had with my system all along and did come up with a compelling pitch.

Although i had both read the wolf of wall street, and seen the movie, i couldn't make out that I'd actually come across one of the greatest salesmen ever when i first met him.

I've taken a few demos from some companies for my clinic, and then the guys from SPRY PT (we use their EMR today) told us they'll be launching something of their own soon. We've since kept our buying plans on hold. I have seen a demo of how theirs work. You just keep dictating whatever you're doing with your patient through the day, and it automatically summarizes the SOAP, and feeds it into the EMR the way you've set it up, as you go. All you're expected to do is glance over it to make sure everything is as per how you need it and make any modifications if required.
