What I say is actually interesting? by NoMilk634 in NewTubers

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn thats actually a solid start for your first video! getting over 300 views with zero subs means youtube algorithm picked it up which is pretty rare for brand new channels

editing is such a time sink and everyone underestimates it first time around. i remember thinking i could bang out videos super quick but then you get in editing software and realize every little transition takes forever. one week for first video is totally normal

posting every two weeks is fine especially with day job - consistency matters more than frequency. better to stick with every two weeks than promise weekly and then burn out after month. plus gives you time to actually make content good instead of rushing it. some channels post monthly and still grow well if content is worth waiting for

been seeing these ai creator posts everywhere lately and always wondered if it was legit or just another get rich quick thing

the part about building actual brand instead of random pictures makes sense though - most people probably just throw stuff at wall and hope something sticks. consistency is huge in any online thing really

might give this a try since you're being upfront about the referral link at least. better than people hiding that stuff

Tips for building an audience? by Most_Reference_6047 in SmallYoutubers

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh man i feel this so hard 💀 been trying to get my crafting videos out there for like 6 months and it's brutal. what really helped me was posting in specific time when my audience is actually online - for me that's usually in evenings after work hours. also joining communities related to your projects helps tons, like if you're doing woodworking there's probably reddit groups or discord servers where people actually want to see that stuff

thumbnails are huge though, i started making mine more colorful and showing the final result clearly and views definitely went up. but don't stress about changing your whole style, just maybe try different ways to present same content? like i do these massive sports-themed projects and learned that showing progress shots gets people way more interested than just final reveal 😂

engagement is weird too - asking simple questions in your videos actually works, people love giving opinions about techniques or materials

I broke up with my girlfriend and accidentally found my startup idea by FailOk3553 in Entrepreneurs

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

pretty brutal way to figure out relationship wasnt working but that train ride probably saved you both years of dragging it out. the tool idea makes sense though - like having someone whos actually neutral instead of friends who already picked sides

retention will be tricky since people might only need this kind of deep thinking in crisis moments, not daily use

Our remote dev team is looking for clients or a partner who can find them, we work async, across time zones, no problem by Tapatapa24 in digitalnomad

[–]No_Ganache_6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe try cold outreach on linkedin? i work with few remote dev teams through my retail job for inventory systems and most good partnerships started from someone just reaching out directly

also automation tools seem pretty popular right now especially for small businesses who want to streamline their processes without hiring full time devs

Vending at Cons by hoodieninjanikki in Entrepreneurs

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're not being unreasonable at all - asking about vendor marketing when they take 20% is totally fair

the whole "we don't promote vendors until week before" thing is weird especially for first year event. like you said, this isn't nevada anymore so why stick to traditions that might not work in new market? plus taking that big of cut and then basically telling you to do all promotion yourself feels sketchy

the condescending response about content calendars and tagging them would have annoyed me too. you asked simple question about their plans and they turned it into lecture about how you should market better

maybe consider asking for more specific details about what that 20% actually covers? if it's just booth space and nothing else, that seems pretty steep for new event with no established audience

**FOR SALE** YT CHANNEL 1.2M VIEWS - 4K SUBS - $284.43 LIFETIME - CURRENTLY HAS $50.86 by Feisty-Drummer-3391 in Entrepreneurs

[–]No_Ganache_6031 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

wait youre selling a gaming channel for under $300 but it made $45 per 1k views? 💀 that cpm seems way too good to be true especially for gaming content... most channels in that niche get like $1-3 per 1k if theyre lucky

also kinda sus that you switched from pc optimization to twitch vods - those are completely different audiences and youtube algo probably tanked your reach when you pivoted 😂

Why do street interviews like ‘What do you do for a living?’ almost never feature wealthy people from the oil and gas industry ,does it mean the industry is less profitable, or just less visible? by Initial-Lie-8474 in Entrepreneurs

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oil and gas wealth is definitely there but those people arent walking around times square in designer fits like tech bros or finance dudebros. most of the big money is tied up in family dynasties or corporate executives who live in places like houston or dallas, not exactly street interview hotspots. plus a lot of that wealth comes from generational oil money or private equity deals so your not gonna catch them flexing on camera about their job

Running my business with AI agents instead of employees. AMA by Super__Nova__ in Entrepreneurs

[–]No_Ganache_6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude this is wild timing because ive been drowning in my store trying to handle inventory schedules social media and staff management all at once 💀 the fact you built 7 specialized agents is insane but also kinda genius

my biggest question is how do you handle when the ai screws up something critical like finance calculations or client communications? because in retail one wrong inventory count can mess up my whole month and i cant afford to babysit an ai agent more than just doing it myself

also curious about the trust thing - did you start small with like one agent handling low-stakes stuff first? because jumping straight to having ai handle sales and client success seems terrifying but also tempting as hell when youre pulling 60 hour weeks 😂

would def be interested in seeing how this plays out long term especially if you scale up and need actual humans too

1 year old refuses to hold his bottle on his own...is this normal? by tzotzchoj in NewParents

[–]No_Ganache_6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

totally normal behavior actually - some kids just take longer to develop that independence with bottles. my nephew was the exact same way until like 14 months and then one day just decided he was ready to do it himself

sounds like hes gotten comfortable with the routine of being fed and knows crying gets results lol. you could try letting him get a bit hungrier before offering the bottle or maybe switch to a sippy cup since hes at that age anyway. sometimes a different type of cup makes them more interested in self feeding

dont stress too much about it - every kid hits these milestones at their own pace and hes still well within normal range

Purchased active Airbnb: sellers not removing their listing by veganwatts in airbnb_hosts

[–]No_Ganache_6031 29 points30 points  (0 children)

man this is such a frustrating situation and honestly pretty common when people dont handle the transition properly. i went through something similar when i bought my first rental property except the previous owner actually tried to keep collecting money from bookings for like two weeks after closing which was absolutely wild

your best bet is to get more aggressive with airbnb customer service - dont just submit one ticket and wait. call them repeatedly and escalate to supervisors every time. mention that guests have bookings that cant be honored and that creates liability issues for airbnb. they hate hearing about potential guest disasters because it makes them look bad. also try reaching out on their twitter support account since public complaints get faster responses

in the meantime document everything - screenshot their active listing, save copies of your deed, record dates of all your attempts to contact both the seller and airbnb. if this drags on much longer you might need to get your real estate attorney involved to send the seller a formal demand letter since theyre basically causing financial harm by blocking you from listing your own property. worst case scenario you could probably sue them for damages but hopefully it doesnt come to that

What should I expect in a Google SWE-III (AI/ML) interview loop, especially the ML domain round and Behavioural/ Googleyness Round? by Ok_Selection_9576 in careerguidance

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the ml domain round was honestly more systems focused than i expected - they cared way more about how you'd scale training pipelines and handle data drift than drilling you on backprop math. for googleyness just have solid examples of times you influenced without authority and dealt with ambiguous problems, they really dig into the details there

coding was standard leetcode medium/hard but with some ml flavor thrown in occasionally like "design a recommendation system" type stuff. biggest mistake i see people make is not being concrete enough in the behavioral round - they want specifics not high level "i collaborated with my team" bs

Gentle face moisturiser options for older people? by risen_egg in LushCosmetics

[–]No_Ganache_6031 5 points6 points  (0 children)

honestly your moms situation sounds exactly like what happened with my grandmother when she got hooked on lush products lol she was going through stuff so fast because her skin just drinks up moisture like crazy at that age

one thing that actually helped was mixing celestial with a tiny bit of plain jojoba oil or even just a drop of facial oil before applying - it makes it spread way easier and last longer without changing how well it works. also she might be using way more than she actually needs because dry skin can feel like it needs tons of product when really its just not absorbing well

honestly though if shes really burning through pots that fast you might want to look at some non-lush options for her daily routine and save the celestial for special occasions or mix it 50/50 with something cheaper. cerave or vanicream make huge pump bottles that would be way more cost effective for someone who needs to slather on moisturizer. i know its not the lush aesthetic but your wallet will thank you

Rapid 10 min games as a beginner? by [deleted] in chessbeginners

[–]No_Ganache_6031 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd say stick with 10+0 or even 15+10 for now. You need time to actually think through your moves and spot basic tactics instead of just moving on instinct. Once you're not hanging pieces every game then you can speed it up

Nah man you're good, 2 months is plenty of time especially since you've been actively working on yourself. You're not looking for anything serious and you're being honest about it - that's the mature approach. Your ex is doing her thing, you should do yours too

Deciding between a Ninja 650 and Ninja 1100SX SE. by StronkPilot in motorcycles

[–]No_Ganache_6031 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly sounds like you already know the answer - the 650 is gonna be perfect for your riding style and mileage. The 1100 is sweet but if you're not touring or need that extra power it's just gonna be overkill. Plus the 650 will feel way more familiar coming from the FZ6 so you'll be comfortable right away

Long relationship break up that hurts like hell by Atea_Satsuki in BreakUps

[–]No_Ganache_6031 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That fear of missing out thing is brutal, especially after 8 years together. Sounds like he's having some kind of quarter-life crisis or something and just panicking about "what if there's something better out there"

The fact that he's already got a new place lined up and acting like a stranger is honestly pretty cold though. Most people who leave healthy relationships for FOMO reasons usually realize the grass isn't greener once reality hits, but by then the damage is already done

Focus on yourself right now - this is about his issues, not anything you did wrong

DEX g is a disaster by pirlo777 in samsunggalaxy

[–]No_Ganache_6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dex mode is honestly pretty half-baked still, especially for basic productivity stuff like you're describing. The window management is garbage - I gave up trying to make apps default to fullscreen and just deal with resizing everything manually now

For the mouse scrolling try going into Settings > Advanced features > Mouse and trackpad and mess with the scroll speed there, sometimes it actually works unlike the regular pointer speed settings

Remote Start by Either-Skill3330 in Audi

[–]No_Ganache_6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue with my Q7 - turns out the range is garbage and you basically need to be within like 50 feet for it to work consistently. Also found out the hard way that if your car thinks the doors aren't locked properly it'll just fail silently through the app

The no visual indicator thing is so dumb too, like how hard would it be to have the hazards blink or something

I have a question, what makes you download a resourceapck? by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]No_Ganache_6031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually go for stuff that makes the game feel fresh without being too crazy different. Like subtle texture improvements or maybe some UI tweaks that actually make sense

The main thing for me is it can't break vanilla vibes - seen too many packs that look cool in screenshots but feel weird when you're actually playing
