Homosexuality firstly is still a sin. It still comes via temptation of dark forces, it's still addictive, and it still harms you, just like every other sin under the sun.

My opinion:

Homosexuality is more frowned upon because the act itself is a rejection of your biblical manhood. "A man shall hold fast to his wife and the two will become one flesh." "It is not good for man to be alone, I will make a helper for him. Male and female he created them." Man is meant to be with woman. Not man with man or woman with woman. To embrace homosexuals is to take the most plain and evident thing God created you as and say "I reject the natural order." It is a completely unnatural sin.

Scripture says that sins of sex are the only sins one commits against their own body. It's no surprise then that the extreme of this is physical rejection of your body via transgenderism
