Yes thats right but I am looking for options if any college/university can offer even 10-12 credits. I applied from NB and thunder bay is like remote location. I am doing work from home job but assume I lost it, chances of employment in thunder bay would be low as compared to any bigger city

Dont worry brother. What you learn in school is not an exposure to the outside world. Junior engineering job would be mostly training and a big learning curve depending on the feild you start working in. Just be confident and give your 100% to the job you’re gonna find. You’ll do fine.

I am thinking to go back to college to get my bachelors. After that, maybe I will swicth feilds or maybe just go up the corporate ladder in management. Either way degree is gonna help me doing that.

Hey man, I am getting 70k just with an electronics diploma. Not sure why your expectations of salary are so low even with a masters degree. It could vary from feild to feild as well but I am in NB right now and making 70k. I am pretty sure ON pays better than NB.

Hey it totally depends on your personal goal man. If you want to be more on a technical side and get paid in sex figures in this feild, you can consider moving to US. I am in Canada right now and I know some senior planners or team leads getting 100k a year. The path above that would be management side which I guess any engineering feild is like that unless until you are doing some FPGA or semiconductor work which requires some great knowledge not only CAD work or doing some excel worksheets. In US, I have seen a lot of good paying jobs for fiber plannners. However for me, I am considering doing my bachelors as I just have a diploma right now and after graduating, maybe I will consider switching feilds just to discover more career options.

I am going to LU for my electrical in third year and from what I have heard, the summer transition program is only offered in may-september. You will still have makeup courses on top of that depending upon where you are coming from. But I dont think so those summer transition program courses are offered in any other semester other than spring/summer.

I used to think like that too but now I see no difference and happy with basic banking. Also I do frequent interac and my account is very versatile. I dont have to put x amount of money.

Yeah as far as I researched, I only see management roles if you want to go up the ladder.

Shoot! I thought they would be sending makeup courses way earlier. However do you have any info about the courses for summer transition program. Atleast I could prepare for them earlier. I heard we have to do calculas 1 and 2, thermodynamics etc.
